"I have reflected many times upon our rigid search. It has shown me that everything is illuminated in the light of the past. It is always along the side of us, on the inside, looking out. In this way, I will always be along the side of your life. And you will always be along the side mine. Our families will be with us, and our families' families. I am sending you this because we have shared something to exist for. |
And, of course, in case anyone comes searching."
-from "Everything Is Illuminated" by Jonathan Safran Foer

Hi Helen, I have had several stones placed. I called the cemetery and asked for a referral. They coordinate with the cemetery to place the stone. You decide what you want on it and size, etc. They even sent me a picture afterwards. Of course, we weren't digital at that time! haha.. Good luck to you!

Hi Helen, I finally got to Fresno County Cemetery, which is right across the street from the side of Mountain View. I put up pictures of the gates and view of the cemetery on Find A Grave, and I added one on Eura's memorial of his row. I don't think there ever was a stone, or it was completely removed. The cement curbs you see are at the head of the plot and the numbers are at the end of the rows and every two feet down the row. You could easily add one. You can see stones added by others in the cemetery and they look nice. The cemetery is plain, graffitied up and really windblown. Hope you are well! Carol Lynds

|mstan||Mary Ann Rice|
My great grandfather Fred Lux is buried in the Joseph Rice lot in St. Marys Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Kenton, Kentucky. I have taken pictures of the headstones in the lot and using my wife's find a grave account,created memorials for everyone in the plot. Mary Ann Rice already had your memorial and I have attached her headstone picture to your memorial.

I'm so sorry about that. My keyboard doesn't work properly sometimes when copying and pasting. Thanks for catching that!
re: Frank Grinsteinner
I received the SAC below from you, the obituary you provided was for someone other than Mr. Grinsteinner. I cannot add it to his memorial.

Thanks for the catch. I corrected it and resubmitted the additional children.
