Bio

Being born and having resided all my life in Quebec City, the most ancient fortified town in North America and which has celebrated in 2008 the four-hundredth anniversary of its foundation, I find that it is a great privilege for me to live and to work here, like I am at the heart of History. My passion for my roots led me quite naturally towards genealogy and obviously cemeteries. I became a "taphophile", that is a loving searcher and caretaker of old stones and funeral steles. Because of the devastation here of the hard climate and often also the negligence of those who should have mission to maintain well these places of memory, and thus worried of protecting the recollection of the humble as the illustrious, I decided to contribute to the network " Find has grave " by incorporating it the most biographic and iconographic information I can get about the men and women who are interred in my small corner of Earth.
