RE: Floyd Andrew Sogge
I just found a news article from the Benson County Farmers Press from June 29, 1921, it states:

"Andrew Sogge, a brother of Alfred Sogge, of North Viking township, a Great Lakes sailor, was killed, May 13th while on duty on the lakes. In attempting to close the hatches during a storm he was thrown into the hold with such force that death followed in a very short time. The sad news has but recently been received by relatives in Benson county. Complete particulars concerning the accident have not yet been learned."

I have not been able to locate his grave. Do you know anything about him? Thanks, Curt Yri

Hi Debbie
Thank you for your kind note. Would you happen to have a photo of your uncle you could post as my goal is to put a face with every headstone?
Best regards

Margareta Gress
Debbie,
I was going through my Dad's, Luke Braxmeier, birth certificate ( 1917) and saw that Margareta Gress and Thomas Stebner were the sponsers. So how is Margareta Gress related to you? Please get back to me. Thank you.

Carol

Re: Lizzie Kluckman (#76520168)
Hello Debbie,

Is Lizzie related to you? If so, I'd be happy to transfer her memorial to you. I'm not related. Just near the cemetery where she is buried & set up the memorial on behalf of her. I'd love to find a relative of her's willing to really make it an awesome memorial for her!

Also in your research on her, did you find anything regarding the first name? Lizzie sounds so much to be a nickname & so I was wondering if perhaps Elizabeth is her legal first name & Lizzie was her common nickname she went by. No idea though since I haven't researched her lineage, etc.

Thanks again for the updated info. I have posted it. If you have more you'd like added, just let me know. Or if you want to take over her memorial, just let me know. Sincerely Anisah in Eastern S. Dakota
