William Joseph Lawhon b. 1845 m. Rhoda Caroline "Kate" Gardner"
Their dau. is Rosalthe Lee Lawhon m. James Francis Parker.
She was his 2nd wife.

Rosalthe is the sister to my father's uncle, Clinton Walker Lawhon, who I knew as a child. I have some photos of the Lawhons, and can't identify all of them.

Rosalthe and James Parker had:

3. Mary Kate Lawhon b. 8-7-1912
4. Dean R. (Roberts) b. 12-30-1913, d. 2-19-2007

From their father's obit, the sons and daughter match. As a cross-reference, they all seem to be very educated and have distinction.

1. Ralph H. Parker: "The Father of Academic Libraries Automation," Dean, School of Library Science, University of Missouri. He married Mary Katheryn Norman on 6-23-1935, Austin, Travis Co., TX. She was b. 4-15-1913.

He received his BA, MA, and Ph.D. from the University of Texas. He was an Industrial Economist, U.S. Government, and Economic Advisor for many developing countries.

He m. Nona Lee Gilvin on 7-6-1936; later divorced. Second wife is living

James Francis Parker was marrid first to Elizabeth "Betty" White. From his Find A Grave# it links only the children they had, but a second newspaper obit has the same children listed consecutively, with Rosalthe Lawhon, after the children of present wife and James Francis Lawhon.

Linking them would be great!

Deletion of duplicate
Both pages for Kathy were originally created by you and transferred to me.

You had a photo of a marker for the Moerbe page that I have added to the Tobin page with full credit for the submission given to you and a note that the original memorial has been deleted.

Thank you for allowing me to be able to do this for her siblings, children and grandchildren.
