A lifelong resident of Salt Lake County, I was born at 5:57 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 1992 at Holy Cross Hospital (now Salt Lake Regional Medical Center) in the East Central neighborhood of Salt Lake City.
Raised in West Valley City, I currently reside in the Liberty Wells neighborhood of Salt Lake City and am a proud Salt Laker.
Family history research led me to discover Find A Grave one day back in August of 2006. I subsequently joined and have greatly enjoyed contributing here since. I feel honored and privileged to be able to help document and memorialize the lives of those who came before me as well as preserve their information for future generations. It is truly a labor of love for me.
When not doing genealogical research, I'm deeply involved in Democratic politics at the local and state levels. I also enjoy reading, writing (I currently serve as a reporter for Utah Political Capitol), and listening to '70s and '80s music.
Please let me know of any corrections or additions that need to be made to one of my memorials.
As for transfers, I don't subscribe to the four-generation rule. If I've added a memorial for one of your relatives or friends and you would like to manage it, please let me know and I will be more than happy to transfer the memorial to you.
My family surnames include:
Curtis, Danielsen, Jensen, Obray, Bickmore, Bradshaw, Carter, Fullmer, Eskelsen, Oldham, Brockway, Gardner, Pino, Simonsen, Madsen, Salmon.
Gibbons, Curtis, Asay, Harward, Carpenter, Wilson, Pedrick, Avery, Broadhead, Durfee, Ellsworth, Franklin, Miner, Baxter, McCleve, Meeks.
If you have time, please leave flowers for my grandfather, Brent Curtis; my grandfather, Norm Gibbons; my grandmother, Gae Gibbons; my aunt, Jane Brandenburg; my uncle, Marc Curtis; and my cousin, Clair Harward

Thank you so much for adding my cousin Max to the Memorial. I appreciate it. Roger

Thank you for transferring my sister's memorial to me. It means a lot. My wife and I were at the burial in Arlington, and now it feels as if we have some control over her resting place.

I will try to locate Ruth's headstone but Valley View Cemetery is a large area with over 11,000 graves currently. Do you have a general idea of where she might be buried? I have asked for locations at the cemetery office but they do not provide this information to non-family members. Are you family? This cemetery will not give information over the phone any longer unless you are a relative of the deceased. Therefore, it is most helpful before requesting a photo, the person/relative of the deceased needs to call the cemetery 801.969.1081 and get the plot and grave number.
If you find out the plot and grave number, I can always drive over and obtain the photo in the evening after work. I live nearby this cemetery.

Thank you so very much for the transfer of Glenn Young. When I noted the care you took for the memorials for his wife and son also, I thought perhaps that you are related to them. However I looked through your surnames and did not see a connection. It is so good of you to take the time to make these memorials.
