Thank you for your kind words. It is a labor of love and respect. Money could not pay enough but love can do many things. What a shame that we are probably a few generations from it all being gone. What a tragedy it is the way our country is headed. No respect for history and lives that are gone.

|Blockade Runner||RE: Maj. James Innes Randolph|
As a member of the MD Division Sons of Confederate Veterans it is our humble honor to have Major Randolph buried at Green Mount Cemetery in Baltimore. If my recollection is correct, there are seven Confederate Generals buried in Green Mount Cemetery, and many other Confederate luminaries such as Major Randolph. Sadly, our monuments and even the Maryland State song have recently come under attack by scurrilous politicians who would attempt to use the Charleston tragedy to eradicate our heritage. It's a very sad thing, but we will fight the "cultural cleansers" every step of the way. It's the least we can do for the brave men who wore the butternut and gray... who too often gave the ultimate sacrifice 150 years ago during the War for Southern Independence. Deo Vindice.

A couple of months ago you posted an update to this memorial - do you have any knowledge of this family?
I am trying to find the gravesite of James's bro-in-law, Milton Davis. Milton married the sister of James (Elizabeth Dorris).
Milton would be my 2nd great grandfather.
Also, do you have any contacts at the Sweetwater Church? Their cemetery is really in need of maintenance before these graves are completely destroyed and covered up.

Thank you very much for taking the time to go out and locate Horace & Mattie's headstone. Thank you for the pictures. I wish you and yours the best. Thanks again! :)

|Susan Potts McDonald||RE: Americus E. Walker|
I got the full name from two sources 1) in the "Eli Everett & Caroline Elizabeth Hartsfield" entry in the book First Families of Newton County, Georgia compiled by the Genealogical Society of Henry and Clayton counties and 2) on a typed family group sheet that my great aunt Trubie Walker Dodson put together.
Americus Walker is my great grandfather George Washington Walker's brother. My line is as follows:
Susan Potts McDonald
Calvin William Potts (father)
Emma Amanda Walker (grandmother)
George Washington Walker (great grandfather)
Elisha Walker (gg-grandfather)
Elijah Walker (ggg-grandfather)
Would be happy to share any info I have with you.
