|Shannon Lynch||Permission to use photos|
I'm using Ancestry.com and Family Tree Maker to work on my genealogy and would like your permission to use your photos found on findagrave.com:
As an example, the photo from this memorial is one I'd like to use - I expect there will be more coming later:
I will give you (via your user name and number) and FindAGrave credit when used.

I am kin to the Moore Family, who once lived in Catawba County, N. C., this is the first time I have seen the Family name Chesser. Sorry, I can't be of any help.

Maybe you can clear something up for me. As I was researching my family tree, I found James both in this cemetery AND also the Carson Cemetery in Alleghany County. Unfortunatley, the creator of the other memorial for James (9263161) is inactive and; therefore, I can't ask them. The memorial page for Caroline Elizabeth Wolfe (James' wife) is also duplicated (and others from the Carson Cemetery). Just curious the information you were using to create this memorial - maybe from that we can figure out just exactly where my long lost cousin is buried. Thanks so much!
|KevinK||RE: Question about photo of Robert Edward Lee, Jr|
Thanks for your speedy reply! We've been trying to find the image with no luck. None of the historical archives seem to have it either. If you ever remember which website it was from, let me know.

|KevinK||Question about photo of Robert Edward Lee, Jr|
Dear Captain Maynard,
I am a photo editor working on a new biography of Robert E. Lee for Harper Collins Publishers, and am trying to track down a photograph which you posted of ROBERT EDWARD LEE, JR. on this website. Do you by any chance recall where you found this image? (Please see attached image). We'd like to publish it in the book, as it seems to be the only image of Lee in uniform.
Would be grateful for any help you can provide!

I have seen so many graves marked, found, and remembered because of you.
Your hard work at this, hopefully, has been received well by the relatives and friends of all you have done.
I personally would to thank you for bringing this site to my attention.

Hello Captin Maynard, I noticed you posted a cemetery photo for St John's Cemetery in Somerset County, Maryland. I am searching for St. John's United Methodist Church Cemetery on Deal Island. Would this be the same cemetery.
