I have worked on my Family Genealogy for about 25 years and have been to many many cemeteries through the years. My Mother and I put out flowers on many graves and liked to remember those that had "gone to Glory". Now that she is gone, I've taken it upon myself to follow in her footsteps by keeping the memories of our loved ones alive. I grew up in Tyler, TX and now live in Rockwall, TX. I will try to start taking pictures of the graves that I go to and add to this site.
I am not at all interested in numbers or seeing if I can get more graves than someone else - that is ridiculous! How could anyone do this to be competitive?
I am really only interested in my relatives, friends, and classmates, and their family connections - not just to reach a high number of graves.
If I make a suggestion or ask for a transfer it is someone I am connected to or related to and want to add information or correct information. I will do the same for you. Thank you for your help.

RE: Daniel M'Kinzie/McKenzie
Opps...

I need to clarify this -

My direct line is Daniel's (1765-1850) brother, David. Then from David's (1763-1849)son John (1795-1852) to Daniel (1824-1876) who is my 3rd great grandfather.

I was so excited my words came out before my brain could think...lol

Anyway, please mail me!

RE: Daniel M'Kinzie/McKenzie
Hi Gail!!

YES, Daniel is my 3rd Great Grandfather!!

I would absolutely love to see the family history you have...I just (within the past month) broke through the McKenzie brick wall on my mother's side by guessing many birthdates, etc.

Here's my email: epitaph.seeker@yahoo.com

I am 'hondalily' on ancestry.com

Thanks so much for the reply!

Daniel M'Kinzie/McKenzie
Hello,

I believe we are cousins as Daniel (memorial 41135937) is my 5th great grand uncle and your 3rd great grandfather.

I am on Facebook and ancestry.com; are you?

I've seen your flowers posted on other McKenzie relatives as well. If you are interested in connecting with me and finding out how/through whom we are related, contact me!
I've just recently made a breakthrough on my mother's McKenzie branch within the past week and after 25+ years, I am very excited to find McKenzie cousins!

RE: Massad Family
No Problem. Are you related? If so I would be happy to transfer as I am not related.
Happy 4th of July

You can delete a pending edit. Go to the drop down list on your profile page and select edits I have sent that are pending (or similar) and click on the little x on the right hand side. I just recently found this and though I would pass the info along.

No problem. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

I declined your suggestion to move her married name to the maiden name field. Was there a reason you were requesting the change? Her husbands obit shows that she preceded him in death.

RE: Gary Wills
Yes, I had written him several times over the past few months and never got a reply, so I had some of the same thoughts you had, Gary did ask me to take over the memorials in Rose Hill for him and I said I would but have never heard form F.A.G. I'll follow up with F.A.G.
