|Gene Meier||Ferdinand Meinecke|
I am writing the first spreadsheet from the American point of view about 19th century rotunda panoramas. These were the biggest paintings in the world, 50 x 400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16-sided polygons. Chicago in 1893 had 6 panorama companies and 6 panorama rotundas. FERDINAND MEINECKE is featured prominently in the F.W.Heine diaries 1879-1921, which I found September 18,2003 in the display case of Milwaukee County Historical Society. Michael Kutzer, born 1941 in Leipzig like Heine is transcribing the Heine diaries. FERDINAND MEINECKE visited the Reed & Gross panorama company site in Englewood, Illinois, which before June 30,1889 was a suburb of Chicago. FERDINAND MEINECKE was in contact with Judge Simeon Woodrow King of Chicago who formed a panorama company to create THE CHICAGO FIRE panorama for the World's Columbian Exposition. I seek contact with Meinecke family members. Info to share

May I use the photo of his tombstone to put on memorials for Catherine and Mark Somers memorial sites even tho I do not know where they are actually buried?

|Karen Sipe||Harriett Gilson|
I found Harriett today at Lake View, but would prefer to see the cemetery of interment corrected before I post the picture.
|Karen Sipe||Harriett Gilson|
You listed Harriett Gilson at Mt Pleasant Cemetery in Seattle. Someone has just requested a picture for her and in snooping around to fulfill the request,I find she is listed at Lake View Cemetery in Seattle.
Do you have any further information for her? It seems her listing should be corrected to Lake View.
BTW your email address did not work.
|Rita Chesterton||your email address??|
Lori, has your email address changed? My private messages to you keep bouncing back. I have information I wish to share about Garret Vliet, Surveyor, in the Find-A-Grave Memorial for him.

Seeking information on your submission in 2004.
Are you connected to this person, or is this just one of the additions you submitted? I would like to know more about this person, as I have Sproat ancestors who settled in Waterford, Racine Co., WI ca 1841-1844, and some of them moved to Milwaukee, WI. I have searched online and find nothing more that what you have posted.

I just viewed your postings on Find-A-Grave and wanted to thank you for making your work available. I'm in CT and doubt I would ever make it to see and photo for my self. I hear from Marcia E. that we share a common ancestor in Sylvester W. Dunbar.
