The descendants of the old settlers, those who cleared the land and first upturned the wild sod to the sun, should see that the doings of those early years are fittingly remembered and recorded.
It was once remarked by a great writer that those who take no interest in the deeds of their ancestors are not likely to do anything worthy to be remembered by their descendants.

Please leave flowers or memorials on my memorials, I believe everyone deserves flowers, and I have a great family. Thank you in advance.
A BIG thank you to those who send histories, death notices, obits and links to add to the memorials. They are wonderful additions.
You may use my pictures and information for your family trees but I do like credit. This is all put on findagrave for your family trees because so many people have helped me with mine. Thank you.

Please read Find A Grave's Transfer Requirements before requesting a transfer "THE FIND A GRAVE GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFERRING MEMORIALS ARE: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for a transfer BUT PLEASE do no ask for a transfer that is not within these guidelines and PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.
Putting requests on this site you will be ignored, and erased. Ignorance is not bliss it is just embarrassing for you.

For extended family members you can add
Virtual Cemeteries as we have done.

PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB ON THE UPPER RIGHT SIDE OF THE MEMORIAL TO SEND CORRECTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS. Will gladly add any obits and will add links to family members. "

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out On polished, marble stone.
It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn.

You did not know that I exist You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our heart contracts and beat a pulse Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled One hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so.I wonder if you lived and loved,I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, And come to visit you.

Adding Information to Memorial...
Dear Barbara:
I would be very grateful if you could please add some information to my great grandfathers memorial #22220810 Walfred Carlberg, you have it as Walfred F Carlberg but he actually didn't have a middle name. If you could please add two more children to his memorial. Betty Gail Carlberg Hitchcock # 104032075 and W. Kenneth Carlberg #113819521. Thank you for your time and consideration and all you do as a volunteer for Find A Grave...

Robert & Eleanor Barr
Thank you for adding these memorials at Riverside National Cemetery.
My father was with Robert Barr during World War II, serving in the same unit.
Like Eleanor Barr my mother was a member of The Cadet Nurses Corps.
The extra effort you have made with these is appreciated.

Thank you for transferring his memorial, it was a happy surprise. I will do my best to get his parents properly connected to him.

Okay. I thought it might be easier for YOU! We'll leave as is for now. Let me know if it becomes too much for you. Daryl

Good Morning Mrs. LeClaire, would you mind if I add a bio to the photo you have for Frank Fiorello's grave in Redlands?

RE: Daniel Craig Jacobson
This is a puzzle since the cemetery has no record for Daniel's burial and it is not listed in his obituary. I'm frequently at the Roland cemetery, so perhaps I'll run into it one day. I did confirm he is not buried in the same plot as his mother.
