If you have a moment, please visit my son Travis. My love for him is a deep pain that will never go away, until I see him again in Heaven. Many thanks to all who visit his memorial. It warms my heart.
A special THANK YOU to all who have left tokens and kind words for members of my beloved family. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Blessings to all.
Hi, I'm a retired educator. Genealogy is in my blood. My mom, her mom and so on have recorded family information for years. I have those records and more for many surnames. Check out my virtual cemeteries. We may be related.
Find A Grave has helped me locate burials of ancestors who were lost. I'm very appreciative of the people who have posted memorials for those cherished souls.

It only takes a moment to say THANK YOU – but your thoughtfulness will be remembered a long time.
~If I got you a thank you card to match the size of your generosity, it wouldn’t fit in your mailbox~ anonymous

I am writing the first spreadsheet from the American point of view about 19th century rotunda panoramas. These were the biggest paintings in the world, 50 x 400=20,000 square feet, housed in their own rotundas which were 16-sided polygons. Chicago in 1893 had 6 panorama companies and 6 panorama rotundas. On September 18,2003 I found in the display case of Milwaukee County Historical Society the F.W.Heine diaries 1879-1921. these illustrated diaries are the only narrative of a panorama company, that of William Wehner (1847-1928) of Chicago who built his panorama studio in downtown Milwaukee. From 1885-88 Wehner produced 2 units of BATTLE OF ATLANTA, 2 units of BATTLE OF MISSIONARY RIDGE & LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN and 3 units of JERUSALEM ON THE DAY OF THE CRUCIFIXION. The diaries needed to be transcribed in German, translated to English, scanned to computer. Michael Kutzer, born 1941 in Leipzig like Heine , is transcriber of the diary project. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, there is a brief quotation on page 138 (07/31-08/03):"(Artist Julius) Segall closes his studio, as he will go to St. Paul with his student BUTTERFIELD." INFO TO SHARE.
