If you have a moment, visit my son Travis. My love for him is a deep pain that will never go away, until I see him again in Heaven. Many thanks to all who visit his memorial. It warms my heart.

THANK YOU to all who have left tokens and messages for members of my beloved family. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Blessings to all.
Hi, I'm a retired educator. Genealogy is in my blood. My mom, her mom and so on have recorded family information for years. I have those records and more for many surnames. Check out my virtual cemeteries. We may be related.
Find A Grave has helped me locate burials of ancestors who were lost. I'm very appreciative of the people who have posted memorials for those cherished souls.

RE: I uploaded a photo to your Dad's Memorial

I have a couple more pics to share with you. I'll email them. Please identify who is whom of the kids in the family photo.

My best, Karen

I uploaded a photo to your Dad's Memorial
Hi Mary,

I uploaded a photo of your Dad and one of his children. Do you recognize who the child is and/or where the photo might have been taken? Let me know when you have copied the file to your computer and I will delete it from his Memorial, that is unless you want to keep it here.

Take care.

Mercy & Amos
Rev. Flickinger states in his biography of Amos Dart that Mercy died in 1895. This is probably so because Amos married an Amy Smith in Humboldt in 1896. Dad had the dates from my grandmother who knew her grandma and grandpa Dart being 17 years older than Uncle Addie. I have no clue how they could have been in the 1890 census as Amos died in 1899 and may possibly be in the mortality schedule. They were in Fonda in the 1880 census.

Remember your grandpa was only 6 years older than his nephew, my dad.
I knew they were married in 1870 and Mercy and her daughter Sarah were both in two 1870 censuses, one in Pocahontas County and one in Sac County.
BTW an actual e-mail would be a good idea. Easier to keep track of and print out for record keeping.
I am going to the library tomorrow in Poky to look at cemetery records.
I have to try to find the missing box of genealogy which is probably in my shop and see what records my friend Holly Newhouse sent me all these many years ago. I know I have some death records and marriage records.

Thank you ~ from the bottom of my heart ~
Dear Mary ~
I am grateful beyond words, and was literally moved to tears (of thankfulness and joy) for your sweet kindness and thoughtfulness in sponsoring the memorial pages for dear young ones, Emma Kringle and Jackson Blick.
You truly are an angel walking the earth - spreading love and compassion. I am so appreciative, and I wish you and your family God's most beautiful blessings ALWAYS ~

RE: Thought for today
No, you didn't upset me with your email. I'm very grateful for your friendship and treasure it! I'm trying to care for myself, but our daughter works and she's the only one that can help me. She does her best and lets me have a few hours a week running errands and take time for me!
Thank you so much for your prayers, I certainly couldn't do this for John and I without all of the prayers!
I just haven't had the time to respond. John had TIAs on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (yesterday!) It breaks my heart when he looks at me like I'm a stranger after almost 50 years of marriage! Today, he's a wee bit better, so far! So, hopefully, it'll be a much better day!
So thankful that you're feeling better! What a MIRACLE! Blessings to you and your family! I promise to check in whenever I can!

Haven't heard from you. Is no news good news? My older sister bobbie is in hospice. her stage 4 breast cancer which we thought was in remission has spread to her bones and lungs. I haven't heard much other than that, she may be recovering as much as she can. My Mom was in hospice for over 6 months when she died.I'd really like to have a digital copy of all the little girls and I could tell you who they are, that is if my sisters and I are in the picture. I don't have many pictures of us all.
Blessed be.

Hello, neighbor!
I recognize so many surnames from your digital cemeteries -- Eastburn, Bookless, Varvel, and others. We may be related by marriage somewhere. I saw, for instance, Cleo Bookless, born in 1907, in your list. I know this name from somewhere. My great=grandparents were Dan and Clara Light Schlotman, who both lived in Sheldon all their lives. He was born in 1903 and she in 1905. I'm quite sure I know the name from their photos. If I find any, I'll let you know.

Valenciaღ Angel of Mine 💕

Valencia’s Angelversary is and always will be a difficult day for me and my family. Seeing your support, your Angel Day tributes and the beautiful and heartfelt message…. just makes it a bit easier and bearable. Wish I could give much more than just a thank you note for your remembrance of of my daughter, Valencia’s Angel Day.
