Hi, I'm a retired educator. I've been working on genealogy since 1961. It has become a passion. My family has been keeping records for more than a hundred and twenty-five years. I have records for many surnames.
Find A Grave has helped me locate burials of ancestors who were lost. I'm very appreciative of the people who have posted memorials for those cherished souls.

RE: Levi & Charlma YOUNG
hello Mary,
I hope your 4th is going well. If you look at one of the main photos for this cemetery, it says that it was used between 1881-1891. There is a big granite slab with the names engraved on it that says who was buried here. There is another Apostolic Christian Cemetery it appears across the road from it on the grounds of the church from google earth photos. I dont have any definite prove that they aren't buried here but based upon the granite memorial I don't think that they are. I cant say why the county records have them here.

thanks,
Brent

Thank you for visiting my son's memorial and leaving a token. I am so sorry for the loss of your baby boy too. There is nothing worse than losing a child. God Bless.

Hello M Richards, If I have written before Please excuse my repeating this. I have tried to request as you suggest in your BIO Transfer of the above mentioned baby boy who was my paternal uncle., he was brother of my Father Louis Vern Search b: 1902 d: 1954
We Search family researchers had very little information on this boy. As he could never be located on any census' and there was never mention of him. Except in my Father's bible.
As you have mentioned on the site that his name was George Lewis, I am curious as to where this came from. I have always believed my Father was named for him only the spelling was different, My Father was Louis V where this child was Lewis B. It wasn't until I saw on a census that Emma Edna was Mother of 4 with 3 living, that I was sure he even existed.
Are you related to the SEARCH family ?

Anything you would care to share Will be appreciated. You can reach me at suzsct37@yahoo.com
Respectfully,
Suzi (Search) Scott

RE: INFO on Jacob Rhoades wife, Mary
Amazing how some people become dead ends. I have a number of them that are significant and find myself spending a lot of time on them. Part of the attraction of doing this. As to Mary "Polly" Schneider, I think what I have is accurate but I am lacking census records for a number of years. I think if I were afforded the opportunity to spend more time, it is not that far to go to get to where she lived. Am hoping to, but medical things keep getting in the way. I will definitely keep you in mind if I come up with more. Mary Schneider is my wife's third great grandmother. you would think there would be someone near by who has some information. Unfortunately when older relatives pass away, the easiest thing to do with old records is to just dispose of them. I guess this is one reason I am doing this, is to preserve in some shape or form, the past.

RE: HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!
Mary,
Are you home now? Please keep me up-to-date on your progress so that I can make my prayers specific to your current needs. I believe that helps!
Thank you for your wishes for John and your prayers. He is still weak, but gains a bit of strength every day.
God Bless You and Your Family!

RE: My Brother Michael.
Hi Mary.

Well We Decided On The Same Shape As Auntie Millie's You Most Probably saw hers in her find a grave page black with pink rose.

Then Colour Wise first We Were Going To Have Ruby Red Granite but then at the Stone Masons they Had A Pearl Blue Headstone Outside Which My Mam Really Liked and I did too so we all agreed on that. The Parachute Regiment Logo Was Done by the Stone Masons Artist, He Also Did Auntie Millie's Pink Roses.

Then I Decided In The 2 Para and His Army Number (2 Para as he was in the 2nd Battalion)

Then The Verse Was From A Paragraph of a poem my sister wrote for his Funeral.

Then The Photo on the Son Vase Me and My Mam picked.

And His Youngest Daughter Picked Dad and Bampy for the other vase.

Then I picked the wording on the base.

To Be Honest Mind I found it easier doing Auntie Millie's as I chose all the wording on that one as I didn't really have to consult other family members much.

RE: Logan's In Surry/Yadkin County, North Carilina
Okay Logan WHAT'S GOING ON? Last week I had a feeling that something was VERY wrong with someone and I called to see if it was your mom, got no answer, left a message and got no answer. I have this weird ability that I absolutely hate and it involves family mostly and premonitions.
I do know about Surry/Yadkin County (been doing Genealogy since I could read) and I have already contacted someone in the historical society regarding the Logans. I have traced down the Rogers family and am looking for more info there. This has nothing to do with DAR/SAR. It's more interesting than that. I've got so many Patriot relatives that I'm going to have to make a list, close my eyes and point a finger to figure out who goes first...LOL.
