LCPL Scott J Roderick
Victor,

Thank you so much for posting the information and pictures of my uncle LCPL Scott James Roderick. I passed this information and news of the pictures to my father and he said this is the first contact he knows of from anyone that knew Scotty. Did you serve with him by chance. Please do contact me if you have further information on him as Dad and I would love to chat. Thank you again so much.

Kind Regards,
Pete

Brent Turner
Victor, Thank you for the memorial and comments about Brent. He and I were hunting buddies before his enlistment as well as his family and my family were neighbors. I never heard the story of his final hours, just that he had given the ultimate sacrafice. Although it has been 42 years since he died, this allows me to have a clearer picture and completion to his life. Respectfully, Gary Baker

JAMES LEWIS
tHANK YOU FOR WRITING THE STORY OF WHAT HAPPENED TO JAMES LEWIS. HE WAS FROM TIVERTON RI AND WAS MY FIRST REAL BOYFRIEND. I was writing to him at the time of his death and actually got a letter from him the day it was in the local paper and news. We were suppose to go out when he got home. I know where he is buried in Notre Dame Cemetery. You are a good friend to do that. My name is Claudette Smith.

RE: Memorial 118693010
You are very welcome. To me it is a small way of honoring and thanking those who have defended our freedom, many of whom have paid with their lives.

Re David Vorenkamp
Dear Victor,

I have tried since 2007-08 to have Barb from Mich transfer or correct information on his parents and she has ignored my requests. The new manager as kindly transferred management to me today and I have edited the information. Thank you for your concern.

Sincerely,
Marilyn Brown

ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
