Cemetery Girl
RE: Jordan grave
You're very welcome! I was surprised to find that the cemetery we went to, was where this little boy was buried. I had seen his obituary - and was thrilled to be able to document it, for his memory. Take care, Nancy

RE: Taylor Greer Cuz
With the sources that I have found Greer's married Greer's quite often... so it is no wonder the DNA tests are strong.. and then if my other Taylor-Greer line does prove out then my gramma Greer and grampa Taylor would be, what, 8X Cousins, right? John Taylor and sister Ann Taylor-Greer were the children of Arthur Taylor.
Thank you for the encouragement. The DNA test is on my calendar for Mother's Day week... and please, where can I go to actually see all these DNA tests results of Greer-Taylors?

Taylor Greer Cuz
I am a Taylor-Greer. paper proof, IF you can believe the paper it is written on??? anyway, back to John Taylor/Margaret Finney-Taylor, from England to Little Gunpowder, Maryland.. and their son Arthur who had a daughter Ann Taylor-Greer who married my James Greer.. and he also had a son John Greer.. and I have traced him to my grampa Clarence Lee Taylor who married Gramma Lula Greer. This line not as much paper, just ancestry, com family TREES... no sources until you get to the Ohio County, KY Taylor's. Thank you for the Noah memorial I accidentally found. Are there any others? I will keep searching. Cuz'???

RE: Dicks graves at Cedar Grove
Wow! That's a pretty impressive project. It's folks like you who have given FindaGrave such a wonderful reputation. Most of my graving takes place in my livingroom, or in my car. Sounds like you've solved one riddle for me, though. The low country was pretty strictly segregated, unless I missed my guess, so I don't think your Ann is my grandfather's aunt. There are other candidates, so you have brought me one step closer! Let me know if I can help.

I've just finished Anne Rivers Siddons' book "Low Country," fictionalized, but I think valuable nonetheless, and certainly entertaining. I have not read any of her others, but I highly recommend that one, and also "The Water Is Wide," by Pat Conroy. They comprise all I know about the Gullah people who most likely fill your Cedar Grove.

My Grandparent McGibony's transfer
Thank you for transferring my Grandparents Find A Grave account to me! I appreciate all the work you do. Happy New Year or as the Scots would say, Happy Hogmanay!
