I've put the link to one of my webpage's here, in case you'd like to learn a little bit more about me. |
I've quickly learned that Find A Grave is a wonderful place to be.
The first person I recorded here was my father, Albin D. Waskevich. He and my mother were married for 18 years before they finally separated. He was a wonderful man before alcoholism got the best of him and took over his life.
My mom remarried the year after I got married. We always kid each other about that. She turned 87 in July of 2009.
We never know what God's plan for us is. Many times we ask "why?" but then we must accept what He has placed in our path and ask "Why not?" I believe that everyone has a cross to bear and we just have to deal with it the best we can. The saying that God never closes one door without opening another has proven to be true time and time again. It has always seemed that each time I didn't think I could get through a particular challenge, a change would suddenly present itself, easing the way once again.
Take care and always remember to have faith and think positive.
My dear Mom went to heaven on July 4, 2011. Loretta (Mitchell) (Waskevich) Groleau. I miss her more than words can say.

I have transferred James to you. I am always honored to work with the memorials of the brave veterans buried at SFNC, and especially pleased when the memorial "Goes Home" to the care of family.

Hi: I noticed last night that you added information for both Thomas S. and his brother John McGrath to find a grave! They are brothers to my husband's father, Bernard, buried in Hopkinton. How are you related to them? Perhaps we have information to share !!
Pat McGrath (Worcester, MA)

You have the wrong person linked in your Marshall Plane Crash Virtual list for Lionel. The person you have listed is his father. Shoebridge, Lionel Theodore, Sr 17430825 b. May 16, 1926 d. Nov. 18, 1996
Mother's Day is hard for us....May is especially hard for me since it is also Mama's Angel Day. And it is like she has 2, because she actually passed om Memorial day. That year it was on the 31st... Now I think of her with many emotions on Memorial Day and the 31st. I know you loved your Mom and cared for her in those last years. I pray you will have many good thoughts and God Bless You is my prayer...I miss you. Thank you so much for your kindness and help in the past in the wonderful AFG. Good Memories!
My name is Brianne Marshall. I am the youngest daughter of your cousin Geraldine. I woke up this morning with my grandmother weighing heavy on my heart. I randomly googled her and found your tribute. THANK YOU! The picture of her as a child warmed my heart as I noticed how much my daughter looks like her. Would you be willing to contact me at email@example.com so we could share our knowledge with each other? My grandmother was and still is my favorite person in the world so thank you again.
Thank you Susan for remembering my Mama. I appreciate it so much...
For the good times. I was happy to do it.
Take care Good Buddy !!!

Hi, We don't know each other...but I wanted to thank you for your sponsorship on memorials..Also, the FRAMES! They are sooo very nice!! Thank you!
Sue-thank you for the beautiful memorials you've created for the Morgan family. My husband's great grandparents were Charles & Bridget Morgan. They had a daughter Sarah who married Charles Sherry. One of their son's was John William Morgan who married Josephine Pickett. Sadly, even though my husband grew up in Worcester he never knew his Morgan family. Charlie spent 40 years in the US Marine Corps and would have loved to have chatted with his Marine cousins. Thank you again for the beautiful memorials you created for Paul, Doris, Robert, David and Kerry Morgan.
