I am from Worcester, Mass, and became interested in family history and genealogy when my husband John and I moved to Wisconsin in 1982. This interest led to searching for family in cemeteries. Then from 2008 to 2013 I photographed monuments in Central New Jersey. As of August 2013, we will be living back home in Worcester. So cemetery photos will help me get reacquainted with the Worcester area.|
I am also a writer with a passion for family stories, historical fiction and photography. It is exciting when all of these interests come together in a cemetery. My experience reminds me of the plaque in the 'Body of Proof' TV show: "This is where death rejoices to teach the living".

Please ignore the edit I had left for Barbara Elizabeth Hassett #121924739, as it was intended for her mother (maiden name). I submitted one for her as a correction. Thanks!!

Hello Therese. Are you related to Helen and/or Russell Hedden of New Jersey. I saw that you posted a picture of their gravestone. I am a relative and interested in connecting with you, if you are related.

The site won't let me delete it since I was not the one that added this memorial. I contacted the person that added it and requested it be removed due to being a duplicate. Thank you so much for the note.

Theresa; Walter Estey was not known as "Sonny"; that would be Edward A. Fenner.

Thank you for adding my grandfather. I've added pictures of his (and my grandmother') headstone and also the photo that is on their headstone. I'm very happy to have found this and to contribute the photos.

I was searching for information on my great grandparents, Timothy and Bridget Harrity, from Clinton, MA and found the information you added about my great uncle Fr. Joe Harrity. Did you know him? He died when I was young, but I remember visiting him in Clinton. Also, where did you find information on when my great grandparents become citizens? Kind regards, Eileen Harrity
