I am from Worcester, Mass, and became interested in family history and genealogy when my husband John and I moved to Wisconsin in 1982. This interest led to searching for family in cemeteries. Then from 2008 to 2013 I photographed monuments in Central New Jersey. As of August 2013, we will be living back home in Worcester. So cemetery photos will help me get reacquainted with the Worcester area.
I am also a writer with a passion for family stories, historical fiction and photography. It is exciting when all of these interests come together in a cemetery. My experience reminds me of the plaque in the two television shows, 'Jordan' and 'Body of Proof': "This is where death rejoices at teaching the living".
Roberts - St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pittsfield I posted the picture for the memorial for Rev. Roberts and found his parents and infant brother buried there also. Would you like me to post memorials and photos for them also?-
Sr Mary Matthew Long Hi, I wanted to see if you had any information on Sr Mary Matthew Long. I am pretty sure this is my great aunt Nellie Long known as Sister Mary Matthew. If so, I have a lot more information about her. thank you, Erin
Samuel Daoust In checking your memorial and the picture of the headstone, there is a discrepancy on the date of death. The headstone says 1949 and the Memorial says 1988 which is the year of his wife's death. I think there may be an error there. Thanks. Memorial #145534907
I am researching Handfield Family, Arthur J. b. 1870. Found your grave info published on Findagrave and I have an addition and I have correction: addition: I have been researching Arthur son John Francis Handfield b. 1901. You don't have him listed. correction : You have posted that "ARthur" married in 1925 and I believe you meant the son "Arthur" b. 1899 married in 1925?
Thanks for publishing this on Findagrave, I appreciate it, Pam Smith
