Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy for the last fifteen years. The main names I am researching are Abernathy, Coley, Higgins, Howell, Knight, Ledford, Roach, Moss, Whitmore, and Williams.

My other hobby is photography. I take photos of everything from cemeteries to concerts.

If you see any of my photos that are very tiny (ie. the size of a postage stamp), please let me know. Several years ago, the Find A Grave website had a weird glitch that made dozens and dozens of my photos the size of a thumbnail pic. I did not upload these tiny pictures. If you will let me know, I can hopefully replace them with a normal size picture.

Please note that I don't have editorial control over memorials that are listed as famous. If changes or corrections need to be made, please contact the Find A Grave admins.

I have created a website dedicated to my family cemetery, the Old Macedonia Cemetery of Bartow County. You can find it by following the link below.

And please be aware that just because I have taken a cemetery photo, it does not mean that I operate the cemetery or have anything to do with the cemetery. I only took a photograph.

Any photos that were taken by me may be used on genealogy websites such as ancestry.com. You have my permission. All I ask is that I am given photography credit.

Mary J dowdy/Basil Brady Phillipi
Mary J Dowdy and Basil Brady are my great great grandparents, their children were Lucy Brady Wade, Anna Brady, Louis Brady ( Alcoa TN), Basil Brady ( Etowah N), Benton Brady and Mary Brady. I know all of these others are buried in the same plot, but I haven't found any indication that they are their children.

RE: even more abt John Clark
Saw that. Raymond buried at same cemetery is son of the John S. The George L Clarke at same cemetery is cousin to John S.

I uploaded the death cert of Mildred to her memorial. It lists John S as being from Cartersville.

No evidence yet that Cammie in same cemetery is related. The 1930 US Census indicates that the John S married to Cammie Webster is not the same John S.

RE: even more abt John Clark
I ran a few searches. I'm not finding much. I did find Mildred's death cert and it says her father was John S Clark. I found your tree with 1930 US Census listing John S as born in 1858. I say they are different John Clarks. I do plan to purchase the death certificate of John S 1887-1966 to verify his parents.

RE: More about John Clark
I've added over 100 people to my daughter's family in the last couple of days. They all descend from Alfred and Lu Sindie (Lambert) Clark. http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=DESC&db=rjmorrison&id=I23913

RE: John Clark
Thank you for the transfer.

John is the son of John E And Amanda (Sligh) Clark. He was married to Cammie/Claudia/Cloudy Jacobs. I haven't found Cammie's death record yet. It appears that Cammie died between 1915 and 1918. In the 1920 US Census, John was married to an Emma.

I have a photo request of you. I see you photographed Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Acworth North, Bartow County where Dillard Garrett 1922-1997 is and possibly his mother Ester Jane Garrett 1899-1983. Also #131021638 Alton R. Gayton 1937-1994. Could you photograph these too? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

photo lifted and uploaded to memorial
Hi, one of your cemetery page photos has been lifted and uploaded by another member to their memorial as a "grave photo" here:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSsr=41&GSmpid=47595011&GRid=49700901&

Don't know why, there's no need to do that and it's against at least two of the rules on photos anyway.

thanks, Karyn

This is a really unique heart felt grave site. My curiosity gets the better of me at times. I did a number of searches to no avail. What was Ms. Bradley's cause of death. Thank you - Richard
