I got interested in research about 11yrs ago when I met my husband. He was reseaching his family. And when I started to do mine.. I WAS HOOKED!! On any given day starting in Spring, you will find me walking the cemeteries, transcribing and taking photos.|
Please follow the Findagrave guidelines when asking for transfers. (Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren). Also, please contact me with any links or additional information using the Edit button on the memorial. Thank you.
(You always should check before adding a memorial! Please do not ask me to delete a record I have created if you created the second one after I did. If you want to add something, please let me know and I can either add it or transfer it to you.)

So it would be safe for me to add them to the Springlawn database, so I can link them to family?

Hi, I'm looking for the gravestones of Robert Penland (20 Apr 1824-5 Mar 1907) and wife, Martha Jane Kennedy Penland (15 Feb 1831-15 May 1908), brother of Henry Penland and sister Elizabeth Kennedy Penland, parents of (James) Marcus Penland.
Do you know whether they are buried in Springlawn?
Thank you, Lucy

Hi i am on my own journy trying to track family :). I cant afford ancestry.com so this is where i have started. I just seen a grave i believe might be my grandma's mom but not sure. Do u know or know how i may find out for free? Thank you for your time and God Bless ♥
I have been trying to locate the grave and death date of Zachariah Dozier who would have been a brother to Yeatman. Zachariah was born in 1803 in Madison Co. KY. He married Sarah Ann Wright in 1838 and moved his family to Illinois around 1850, but returned to KY in 1869 abandoning his family in IL. I found him in the 1880 Census living in Madison CO, KY in the Million twshp area.
If you or any other family members have any other information about him I would sure appreciate finding out what became of him. He is my 2X great-grandfather.
Thank you for all of the updates and links, Marcie!~Laura.

May I take over maintenance of this memorial? Anna is my father's aunt. Thank-you very much.

You have the father of Rose Mary Adleta (54170093) as Edward C Adleta (34308763) and unless he sired at age 1, it is impossible. Her father is in fact Edward F Adleta (63902110), also in the same cemetery, same section. I have put in a request to add Edward F, but it did not give me the option of saying it was a correction, not an add.
Thanks Marcie, I appreciate all your Find-A-Grave work.
