I got interested in research about 11yrs ago when I met my husband. He was reseaching his family. And when I started to do mine.. I WAS HOOKED!! On any given day starting in Spring, you will find me walking the cemeteries, transcribing and taking photos.
Please follow the Findagrave guidelines when asking for transfers. (Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren). Also, please contact me with any links or additional information using the Edit button on the memorial. Thank you.
(You always should check before adding a memorial! Please do not ask me to delete a record I have created if you created the second one after I did. If you want to add something, please let me know and I can either add it or transfer it to you.)
James Stone Walker (#25949358) Please know that I have sent an FG Edit request to change the date of death of James Stone Walker from 1945 to 1935. Both his gravestone and the Kentucky Death Records index show his DOD as 1935, not 1945. The 1945 DOD listed in the Richmond Cemetery Inventory of Burials is a typo. I will notify the cemetery office of this error.
Sidney White, 20573194 Sidney White is buried in the Amos Richardson Cemetery. I would like to discuss a couple of things with you.
First comes to the obvious mistake of whoever made the tombstone. His birthdate is wrong.
Sidney White is my great-great-great grandfather, and when it comes to his birthdate, I believe he was born in 1852 or 1853, as his parents where married on Oct. 14, 1851, making an earlier birthdate unlikely. (Although his age in the Census varies quite wildly.)
Next, I know where two of his daughters and his son is buried: Harvey White (1886-1943) 147163869 Dora L Jenkins (1890-1974) 155662928 Miranda W Richardson (1903-1975) 25683706
As for the whereabouts of his other children, I'm not sure. And for his wife, Amanda Richardson White (1866-Mar. 17, 1957), I am puzzled to know where she is. Perhaps she is buried here in an unmarked grave. Thanks for your time.
Dumont Walton's wife's name Dumont Walton's Memorial #27210669. There is a narrative by Michael Mussinan stating that Dumont Walton's wife was Emma Elizabeth Mussinan. Emma B. Mussinan Walton's Memorial #27210676. It says her husband was Dumont Walton. I am trying to prove the name of Dumont Walton's wife: Emma Elizabeth Mussinan or Emma B. Mussinan. Ohio, Deaths, 1908-1938, 1938-2007, shows these two women next to each other on the Index list: 1: Emma E. Walton, DOD: 24 Jun 1921, Logan Co., Ohio. Certif #34073. 2. Emma B. Walton, DOD: 7 Oct 1921, Hamilton Co., Ohio. Certif #56410. I can't find Emma Mussinan on the 1900 or 1910 Census records and no one is researching the Mussinan family on Ancestry, and no Will is listed for Dumont Walton. He was a dentist so one would hope he would mention his deceased wife and his child(ren). Question: can you forward my query to Michael Mussinan so I can ask for his help? Objective: accuracy in identifying the wife of Dumont Walton. Or can you ask him to contact me? My remaining alternative is to send for both DCs to see what they say. Thank you for any help you can provide. Find A Grave Contributor: Phyllis Adamson
