*+*+ I saw this Headstone and could not resist.|
Born in Trenton, Nova Scotia, Canada, raised in Los Angeles since age 5. I concentrate my efforts at Westwood Memorial Park, Forest Lawn Glendale, Hollywood Forever & Los Angeles National.
+*+*+*+May 2016 I am now concentrating on Woodlawn, Hillside Memorial Park & Holy Cross during the summer months. Too hard for me to climb the hills at Forest Lawn, Glendale.
I produce a high volume of memorials and photos with a good chance I have made some errors along the way. I ALWAYS welcome corrections!
***When I take a photo for a request, I take the time to trim and clean the headstone. I average 700 random photos each time I go and do my best to make sure the headstone is readable. I do not clean and trim each one. I personally like the natural (as it stands) look rather than doing what should be done by the cemetery.
If anyone wants to manage a memorial I created that is not a family member or friend of mine, just ask. I donít understand those who feel the need to hoard and control every memorial.
If anyone wants to use ANY photo I have posted to their family tree can do so without further permission. Anyone who feels the need to charge for photos that offer a family a small piece of their (key word their) family history needs to rethink their values. No disrespect meant. I offer my photos to anyone else for publication for free with proper photo credit.

I just ordered a book about Colin McPhee to see if I can get to the bottom of this. Will keep you posted.

Let me share another two methods that do NOT work at Holly Cross. :) I printed out an alphabetical list of all requested photos. I went to Holly Cross and picked a random area. I literally started checking each headstone against the list of requests. I found not one grave like this. Not a single one.
Another method that I thought might work was to look for graves that were in the "target" date of death burial. I'm sure you noticed that there are clusters of years in certain area when the burials took place. I was at the area which contains mostly 1957 through 1960 burials. I checked off those on the list with this date. I still could not find anyone with this method.
I really wish those folks would be more helpful and that they would give us plot coordinates.
At least I was not harassed by anyone.
Hope you are doing well.

Thank you so very much!!!! ❤️

I posted them last night as a favor. I'm glad you picked them up because I can't do those on the slope -- but you, sure-footed that you are will take those 4 and make pretty pics!!
I am without a phone, sort of -- the kids left for Seattle this morning (they are racing) and sure enough my phone dropped to no service or only 1 bar, and I didn't have half my internet sites until about an hour ago. Cripe! It's gonna be a long weekend!

The husband is still alive and I usually keep an I for deaths in the paper. Her husband isn't entered in Find A Grave I think, but I did not check.

That is just beautiful! The Chinese really do wonderful grave work.
I'll let the requester know. Sigh...
