Hi, My name is Kyle Erickson. I live in Powell River, British Columbia, Canada. I'm an avid amateur genealogist and historian with a love for anything historical. I'm a second generation Canadian on my mum's side and her parents came to Canada from Dublin, Ireland in 1958. On my dad's I'm and 8th generation Canadian and his family has been in Canada since the 1780's. I have roots going back to Alberta (Mormons & other Settlers), PEI (South Uist and Ireland), and Quebec (Loyalists), as well as Kansas (Bleeding Kansas), Upper New York State, and all the way back to New England some 400 years ago. There is so much you can learn through genealogy and it is a very rewarding pastime. I am proud to be a decendant of all these people.
