Lifelong resident of northeastern Illinois, I enjoy visiting the cemeteries and searching out headstones, photographing and posting them and trying to weave the links together of other family members in that cemetery or other ones nearby, so that other researchers can utilize my findings. My areas of particular interest are Lake County (where my family started off in this country), DuPage, Kane, DeKalb and Kendall counties, and also Morgan and Scott counties in southern Illinois. I'll also sometimes go out of my "comfort zone" if it's something that looks intriguing. I try to arrange my photo expeditions according to my schedule and by areas, and of course by weather conditions. I only claim photo requests that I can absolutely fulfill, and try to fulfill them as promptly as possible. As always, if you'd like to copy a photo, ask permission first in order to let me know how and where it's going to be used, and credit my work. Other than that, I'm happy to help you out in whatever way possible, just contact me.
RE: Re: Lisa Renee McMahon Not sure how or when it changed. I took my photo back in Sept 2015. I put something under the caption of my photo mentioning that the name changed on the plaque. I am going back through some photos I took awhile back and skipped adding them.
I did find some info out there using each name. Up to you want you would like to do with the name.
Charles Sumner Brown Any thoughts as to why your dates & the tombstone dates do not match? I have seen this before but wonder about this stone. What is your source for the birth date of Charles? Thanks for any assistance.
RE: Rev. Kenneth Hansen Thank you very much! No need to do a transfer; I was assisting Kenneth Hansen's grandson with his family tree, but I'm not related myself. :] I still haven't been able to track down Kenneth's father, Peter Christ Hansen (apparently he's not in the family plot at Mound Cemetery) but if I do I'll let you know. Thanks again!
Vera Gordon memorial Thank you for the updated info regarding Vera Gordon. I would like to transfer her memorial to you since you have some familial tie to her. That way you can add any further information that might be relevant.
re Christina Binnie Perry and infant son Hi, can you add your gravestone pic for Christina Perry to her infant son's memorial?thanks, donna white http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=84623064
RE: Memorial #87161869 Thank you so much for responding and researching. Is there any way you can send me what you were looking at as far as obits, etc?
I have looked on genealogybank and have yet to find anything. Very interesting that the address you listed at 5840 N Marine is very close to where Gertrude was in 1920 with my Great Uncle Frank Shannon. They were at 1220 E 46th Street. Granted, yes, it was 40 yrs apart. But one never knows we have to look at every single piece of evidence don't we?
Thank you again so very much. And if you ever need anything from me in WA State I am happy to help.
