Click on the tomb for more info. I've been seriously interested in family genealogy for a long time. If I've added memorials to non-family members it's because I was there and had a camera while looking for my family (I'm a grave walker). Some markers catch my eye and I must photograph them. I try hard to capture the Veterans when I find them...because they deserve it. I'm not interested in building an empire of memorials for the sheer sake of numbers so I'm more lax over turning them over to family than Find A Grave's rules. If a relative is closer to you than me I have no problem turning them over. If they are at all relation to you and not me then just ask, tell me your relation and they are yours. I'd like to thank the volunteers who have brought me photos from far away, you are wonderful. You may use these photos for any non-profit reasons (Ancestry.com, findagrave spouses, etc) |
I've been happily married for 39 years to a wonderful woman who keeps me in check. (I need to be kept in check.) I'm a NRA Life Member (gun enthusiast), from bull's-eye pistol to BMG, a certified PADI SCUBA Divemaster, Extra Class HAM radio operator and 4th dan Judo black belt. I wish I could fly, parachute, play an instrument and dance but I can't...or haven't yet. I also make a mean breakfast!

|BjJ||Harol Hill photo request|
Hi - I'm sorry, but this photo request at Oak Ridge Cemetery will be impossible to fulfill without plot info. And, any idea of the year of his death? You will need to call the cemetery office at 217-789-2340 to get plot info. This is a 365 acre cemetery and over 75,000 burials, so as you can imagine, there is no way to even guess where he might be. I'll be happy to look if you can get the info. Thanks in advance.

Wondering how often you are at St. Micheal's cemetery. Looking for help in locating and getting a photo of graves for
Honora, d July 3, 1932
John, Sept 29, 1829 - Oct 18, 1912
Frank, July 3, 1868 - May 4, 1901
They are said to be laid to rest here, but cannot locate proof.

You took a picture of a my husbands military stone that has been replaced. The stone that was there had the wrong death date. The new stone is now in place, set and with the correct death date. I hope this won't be a problem for you to remove the picture with the date of May 23, 2013. Thank You, Rose

Thanks for the picture of the gravemarker on my aunt and uncle, Woodrow and Jewell Watkins.

Sorry I just assumed you fulfiled my photo request, but thanks anyway! By the way, Robert was my wife's uncle.
