Finding family members or friends here on Find A Grave can be very rewarding! This in turn can tell you other key information on them from a genealogical point of view that you may not have known before such as children, or other relatives, and important dates which can give you more leads! -- I hope I've made your day by finding info this way because it is so cool!!! :) It makes me feel good to know if and how I helped you! Posting memorials here has led relatives to me! This has been very fulfilling and exciting! I hope you all can post a relative or two that aren't in here yet so it can also help others, and can bring closure for them. If you're in the system as a member with a few memorials, or even none, they then have a way to get in touch. Leave a flower or message on the memorials important to you thus leaving a trail to your bio like I have here, and then they can contact you. You don't have to leave your e-mail exposed, as the system will automatically send messages to your e-mail - (if you like). It does not cost to join or to get volunteers too take pictures of the tombstones for you. Just request them, and you may find out more info! Can't hurt to ask right? Members will gladly go out and do it! So don't be hesitant! They love it! As a matter of fact they usually snap them up fast, as they love doing it so very much! So go ahead! Put a request in on the memorial in question in the ask for question button! You can add pictures too, so don't be shy! It can be very interesting just strolling around in the cemeteries and looking at the names and dates. I like finding the famous ones which is interesting, but also the not famous ones too.
If I or someone else needs to fix an error or add info you tell them by click on the edit button in upper right corner of the memorial in question. Sometimes they are a bit slow but eventually will respond. If they don't try again and if not again try asking find a grave.
Here's another tip. Post your family names that your researching on here like I have below, and when folks Google them, they can find you and give you info on here. It has worked for me multiple-multiple times!!!
I'm currently researching these family names:
Braddy, (sometimes Brady), Renspie, Roenspie, Roenspies, Schenke, Krueger, Kruger, Peacock, Oehlke, Mason, Suddith, Suddeth, Jones, Worrell, Worrel, Harrison, Hutton, Swanson, Swansen, Thiele, Clawes, Claues, Ferrier, Danielsen, Rodgers, Rogers, Thiele, Hutton, Hampton, Holder, Hamacher, VonCannon, Benya, Brehm, Balzer. and others. .
- If you think your related give me a shout! Others have and it's been great.
Another very useful free research site I use is: Familysearch.org and My Heritage Family Tree Builder
My virtual cemeteries (on the right) have my relatives, friends, and some projects.>
I'm a Marine Corps vet and I want to Thank my Fellow Vets, Active duty, and your families for their service and sacrifices!
and may God Bless you
and these Proud and GREAT
US of A!
I hope this was not too long......:)

In my Uncle's memorial, his mother's name is misspelled. In the second line, my grandmother's name is spelled Greita. The correct spelling is Geita.
I don't know where you got your information, and I don't want to come across as being "testy" but the second paragraph of my uncle's memorial is also wrong. Naomi Hitchcock and Martin Van Buren McCleary adopted Ernest Wilbur McCleary. (His real birth parents are listed on his death certificate)
Not ALL of their children were adopted. Two were born of their union...
Please, is there a way to contact you to straighten out these mistakes.
Hi! Thanks for your prompt response. I was not offended, just wanted to give you a heads-up. You are very kind to transfer her memorial, but that is not necessary at all. I'll be placing her memorial back in your care as soon as I finish this note. I did adjust your changes a bit, making her name match what appears on her monument. Otherwise, there is danger of the memorial being duplicated, no? I took out mention of her husband, too, since he's still living. That was a good idea you had, adding her nickname. Finally, thanks for your contributions to findagrave. It's such a great resource. Take care, Amy

|Rich||Robert Hampton - Daughter Mary|
Hi, from what I can gather you are Scott Braddy married to Linda Hampton (Robert/Ruth daughter)? I read the write up you did on Robert, thanks for that. It confirmed a lot of things I had already completed and some things I hadn't had. I am Richard Keller, eldest son of Mary Hampton (Keller). I have been putting together our genealogy and just recently made some additional in-roads which has led me here. You indicated you wanted to know more information about Robert and his family, well, I can certainly fill you in on Mary's life. If interested in contacting me I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org in case there are spammers here. Once I see your e-mail I'll respond with my personal e-mail address and we can converse.

Why do you say I have him in a Mississippi cemetery? I don't have him in any cemetery!
Thank you so much for the transfer of my grandmother's memorial :)

THANK YOU for Helen Collipriest's memorial bio #66243102. I already had the basic details but I learned more from your brief bio than from hours of research! What a find. Thanks for helping my journey go a little faster.

Thanks Scott. I will take a look at it.
|Darline Burke||Grave Location|
Thank you for listing our great-great grandmother, Maggie Burke in your listing. Can you tell me how to find the grave location? We have been given Lot 67, Block 1 but there is no section designation. How can we find this? An out of state relative visited the cemetery last week but the person in the office couldn't even find records with her name. What office would have full information on her?
Thank you so much for your dedication to listing the names in this old cemetery.
