|Dolores J. Rush||Hi!|
Am sending you an email. I have a question about Col. Henry T. Titus to ask you.
|Kathleen Clemence||Turla/Chassagne Memorials|
I notice you have left virtual flowers for Leopoldo Turla and Julio Chassagne that contains quite a bit of information. Per Find A Grave "biographical information and obituaries should not be included in a virtual flower."
Therefore, I would appreciate it if you would delete those virtual flowers and send me the information - I would be happy to post.
Thank you -

Dr. Guas Inclan was married for a second time to Maria de los Santos Perez Diaz, daughter of Senator Pablo Luciano Perez of Pinal del Rio and Rita Maria Diaz Vivo, on June 29th 1967 in Miami, Florida. Maria Guas Inclan became a widow on October 12, 1975 after Dr. Inclan passed away. Maria Guas Inclan has a PHD from the University of Havana, Cuba and is the author of a well known book of poetry by the name of "Entre la luz y la sombra".
|Carmen Hernandez-ochoa||Thank You|
I wish to thank you for including my mother's name in the Memorial for Carlos Prio Socarrás. She was his first wife,Gina,and the mother of his first daughter,my sister,Rocio Guadalupe,affectionally called Kitty. We all worshipped him,even I who was not related to him in blood.Please know that he was a great human being and the best,and most charismatic of Cuba's presidents. God rest his soul.

I received a paper that was not published by a gentleman who was working on the Picket papers entitled JTP: buccaneer or Diplomat. His thesis as well as others John was a bit of a hothead and bungler. Then I found some papers in the NA in Santa Anna's files. Near the end of his life The US sponsored his return to power. Secretary Stanton appointed John Thomas to be the leason to him and give him assistance.
To me this puts a whole new light on John's activities. Stanton was also the founder of the secret service and a co-founder of Wells Fargo and some say a spy network during the Civil war. If this connection bares out here is another reason John was not a co-defendant of the trial of Filibusters, in spite of his arrest.
You also asked me if the two Picket lines were related. Simply yes. George and John were not only cousins but fellow Masons. Further James sponsored the Hungarian revolutionary that John served under in 1848 to the US (He settled in Ohio), George came to the lecture series in DC (a list of attendees exists in the NA). George, Sister married at the same church in LA as George did his first wife. Her husband was involved in a railroad project that failed with John. This railroad was to go to Mexico.
My question is "Was John a government operative (Union)?
He served with Breckenridge in the first attempt at reconciliation between the North and South and both escaped Kentucky's warrants and joined the government of the South when they arrived in Richmond. He traveled in cogito to various towns and was appointed ambassador to Mexico. I also found his commissions as Col. and Brigadier in the congressional record of the Southern union.

Dear Mr. De La Cova,
I just found this web site about R M Williamson and I want to thank you for posting Robert's picture. I am his gr,gr grandson. I have been trying to publicise his many contributions to the creation of the Republic of Texas and all the battles he fought in. The Texas Ranger museum, the San Jacinto monument and the museum at Washington on the Brazos does not even have a picture of him on display much less a bio. I can't even find where his wife, my gr,gr,grandmother is buried. Suppose to be in Independence, TX (Mary Jane Edwards)b:abt 1818,Tenn; d: dec 11, 1858, Independence, TX.
