Ernest George Farmer (Find A Grave Memorial# 137443572)
Ernest George Farmer (Find A Grave Memorial# 137443572) was the son of Carter Skidmore and Margaret (Bennington) Farmer. I see on the death certificate that you posted for Ernest that it list his mother as Rachel (Coldiron) Farmer - This is in fact his grandmother...I think whoever provided the information at the time of death just didn't know. If you would like further documentation I can provide it. Rachel died in 1939 at the age of 86 - She was my great great grandmother's sister.

Thank you! Karen (Mefford) Pickhover

Charles W. Gibson
I want to thank you for posting Charles W. Gibson's death certificate. I have spent some time in the last month researching my ancestors at my grandson request. I was just about to order a death certificate for C.W. Gibson as I had two possible sets of parents for him, luckily I remembered I had seen his cause of death somewhere, but couldn't find it at Thought it was worth a look at "Find a Grave" and bonanza! There it was with all of the information I needed. Thank you!

dual burial???
Is it possible the John Calvin Phillips #1161655615 and # 127544220 are the same person. My GG Aunt Margaret D. Hause was married to John Calvin Phillips in Marion Co, OR in 1871, so am looking for her marker.

Giles Burret Cropsey
Message received from find a grave member Donna Horine, find a grave #47166914 on 01 Sep 2015 as follows:
Giles Cropsey of Corvallis OR was cremated at Mt. Crest Abbey however at the direction of Keeney Mortuary, his cremains were shipped to the Oakland Crematory in Oakland CA. Mt. Crest was the only crematory in the valley at the time of his death.

Myra Aldrich
I sent you a Find A Grave correction on her name. Mary may have been a nickname but the headstone says Myra...or the person completing her death certificate named a mistake. I had already entered her but yours was more complete.

Stella (Strauss) Hewitt, #138677524
Hello Sue,
I'm 100% sure the memorial I created for Stella (Storms) Hewitt, in January 2015, is a duplicate of the one you created for Stella (Strauss) Hewitt, about 2 1/2 months earlier. I've found and linked Stella to her parents, Elisha C. Storms 1827 - 1917, and Mary L. Tuttle Storms 1843 - 1905, both buried in South Dakota, but different cemeteries.

I believe the surname for Stella's parents, as written on the Certificate of Death, was not correct, but should be Storms. The informant was Stella's 3rd husband, R. Davis Hewitt, and maybe he couldn't read the handwriting on the family records as Storms and did the best he could.

I can transfer management of the memorial page I did to you, and you can add the photo of the Certificate of Death, and or transfer all the information I collected, with family links, to your memorial, and delete one of the two memorials. Please let me know if this is okay with you, or if you would like to do something else. [I'm not related to Stella either.]

RE: Stella (Strauss) Hewitt, #138677524
Hello Sue,
Her maiden name was Storms. See memorial #141832648, remains are in Lincoln Memorial Park mausoleum, in Portland, Oregon.

I'm searching for the death and burial information of Stella's daughter, Lura, whose 1st marriage was to Keith Taylor, and she lived for awhile in Canada, but moved back to Portland, Oregon. Lura's daughter was Patricia, and Patricia's remains are with her grandmother, Stella Hewitt.
