Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello everyone, my name is David. After more than 10 years as just "David," I decided to change my public name, as I am a perplexed historian. I may go back to David, but for now I am enjoying the change. I am a professor of history and have always loved to research my family history, and to pay tribute to my lost loved ones. Find A Grave is a great way to keep your family history alive. Please check out the memorials for my three departed grandparents. Marian L. Seymour (1915-2001) My beloved grandmother meant the world to me and I am glad she has this tribute, and My two grandfathers Harold H. Seymour (1913-1997), and Raymond Dominic Stallone (1910-1993). Also check out the tribute to my Great Aunt because I made her a promise she would never be forgotten Pauline Burke (1922-2003).

2012, took from me one of my favorite people on the face of the earth, my Gretel. Gretel was the best friend of my Oma(grandmother). Gretel along with four other women constituted my favorite people on the face of the earth. I called them my hummingbirds as they fled their homes in Germany following World War II and created a friendship which formed a family. I thought of these women as superheroes and never thought I would lose one.

Gretel Dzierla (1927-2012).

Please visit the memorial of my good friend Marilyn:
Marilyn Borden (1932-2009).

Please leave me a message if you want to contact me, I no longer will give out my personal e-mail as they are never positive e-mails only complaints. I cannot help on famous memorials I have added, but if you feel you are a relative of mine or you have info I am lacking in one of my memorials, please feel free to leave a message.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY OF MY PHOTOS AND POST THEM ON OTHER WEB PAGES LIKE ANCESTRY.COM WITHOUT PERMISSION. I HAVE SPENT YEARS FINDING THEM AND WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU RESPECT MY WISHES. THANK YOU.

Hi David,
My Great Aunt Missouri Shepherd Colbert is buried at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park in Watsonville, CA. You have some photos of this cemetery and I'd like to ask permission to use them. I searched for the cemetery but could not find any public photos so would you mind if I used yours?
Sincerely,
Susan

Oh my goodness! I haven't been on my page for a while and when I looked at my Dad's cousin Willard Stine Anderson and his Father Arthur F Anderson and saw someone connected all of their family on my page! What a blessing! Thank you for hooking them together! I've not found where Arthur F. Anderson's wife Blanch Helms is buried. They were in Alaska and he's buried in Washington. Someday I'll find her!
Thank you for connecting the dots! So much to look at!

RE: Esther Hall Crowell
Hello... I've submitted memorial edits for Esther Hall Crowell. She was my great-aunt -- her brother was my maternal grandfather, David F. Hall. As a child, I once visited Turlock Memorial Park with Aunt Esther and my grandmother, Jennie D.Hall. I remember them both telling me that I'd some day visit their own graves there... they were right.

Gravesite Photos
Hi David,

I have several gravesite photos, mostly from cemeteries in the LA area on my visits out there from Dallas. If you would like any or all of them, I would be glad to e-mail you the photos for your use.

Regards,
Rusty

The Photo is of her as a young woman. "anonymous" is a stupid person.
