My parents were Thelma Smith Sweerus and Aaron Sweerus.
I have one sister Billy Neil Crawford.
Graduated from Darien High School in 1947.Attended Ga.
Teachers College for one year,then I went to nurses school
At St. Vincents Hospital in Jax.Fla
My mother moved to Savannah,Ga. After my father died in
1947,so I came to Sav.to work.I met ,Bill,my husband while his Mother was a patient at the hospital where I worked. We were married June 26,1954.
I have 3 children Stephanie, William, and Jula,4 grand
Children,2 great grandchildren. Transferred to Ca.in 1969.
Bill passed away July 6,2010.
I am retired and fot to mention I spent 2 years in the Air
Force as a Lt. In the Nurse Corps.
