It is now four years since we moved to Scotland to be near to our daughter and son in law. It is peaceful here, such beautiful countryside, and so good to be near to Susan and Jonathan. I love FAG site, people are so friendly and helpful. I am interested in the American Civil War, as well as our Civil War. Names interest me, my maiden name was CLOUT, and Mum's maiden name was RIDEOUT, both unusual! I Also I am interest in old films and stars, reading, knitting, and my garden. |
It is now six years since we lost our little cat Mitzi, and I am overwhelmed by the support I have received from people on FAG. Have also added my Mum and Dad, and my Grandparents, other family members and friends which is wonderful, I can add flowers whenever I want to. I think it is so good that we can leave flowers for other people's loved ones, it is a great comfort to do this.
God bless you all.
I have been truly blessed with my dear family.
My thanks to all who have left flowers for my loved ones. I will always do my best to leave flowers for yours too, they all deserve our love and respect.

I took care of my husband for 27 months, couldn't have done it if he hadn't been in hospice, it was hard and you certainly do need a break He passed on our 34th anniversary. I had to put him in care home twice in that period of time, to make a trip to Kansas, to see my grandson, before he passed from a brain ca, then again for my grandsons service. The hospice people were wonderful. Hospice used to be only for a period of six months or less. Now, they will keep them in it for longer periods of time. Is there a possibility your husbands doctor could do this. He was 83 when he passed 2 1/2 years ago.

As always, you both are in my prayers. In my EMT training, we were taught to take care of ourselves first or we were no good to anyone else. You take this opportunity to rest. You can't drain and empty cup.
