It is now nine years since we moved to Scotland to be near to our daughter and son in law. It is peaceful here, such beautiful countryside, and so good to be near to Susan and Jonathan. I love FAG site,people are so friendly and helpful. I am interested in the American Civil War, as well as our Civil War. Names interest me, my maiden name was CLOUT, and Mum's maiden name was RIDEOUT, both unusual! I Also I am interest in old films and stars, reading, knitting, and my garden. |
It is now six years since we lost our little cat Mitzi, and I am overwhelmed by the support I have received from people on FAG. Have also added my Mum and Dad, and my Grandparents, other family members and friends which is wonderful, I can add flowers whenever I want to. I think it is so good that we can leave flowers for other people's loved ones, it is a great comfort to do this.
God bless you all.
I have been truly blessed with my dear family.
My thanks to all who have left flowers for my loved ones. I will always do my best to leave flowers for yours too, they all deserve our love and respect.

Thank you so much, Susan! We had a wonderful evening... and a great weekend thus far! My thanks to all my friends like you ... I am so thankful for all the birthday wishes... I feel about 12 again... that was how old they thought I was when I turned 17!!! LOL... Those were the days! Love ya, Cecile
|rosie mcnaughton||Hi Susan,|
I saw your birthday message on Cecile's page and just had to comment! I will be 72 this summer, and I know what you mean about being young on the inside, although I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm 16...ha ha. But I'm always a little surprised to see how old I look in the mirror. How is Mick doing now? Hope he is feeling well and able to get around. Take care,
|rosie mcnaughton||Hi Susan,|
Just checking in to see how you and Mick are doing. We are having a heck of a winter here in the states. I hope you are not having as much in Scotland. Also hope Mick is doing better. Take care.

Thank you for the interesting (although tragic) story about your uncle. I am a bit of a WW II nut and am always amazed at how any of the men survived. I have just finished reading "Unbroken" by Laura Hillenbrand and I highly recommend it. Thank you again for sharing your story.
