I started collecting Kuchman/Mahler Family Genealogy of Rochester, New York over 35 years ago. In 2006 after my Dad passed away, it became time to sort thru all the boxes, notebooks and old photos and put them into a computer program and preserve family memories.
My wife's family is the Lewis/O'Leary Family of Chicago, Illinois.
I started with Ancestry and Family Tree Maker 16 and I am now using FTM 2014 with great results. Genealogy has become an addiction for me. I have met new family and many new friends all over the world. Genealogy never ends! Now is the time to add my family and friends to Find-A-Grave. For all those that have gone before us, remember them, honor them and tell their story.
I will be happy to add family links, photos, make needed corrections, and add appropriate bio information.
If a person is listed in my Family Tree, I will retain management. If it's not listed, I am more than willing to transfer management.
Figuring it out Hi David, I'm currently trying to untangle some of my Rappleyea family members and I see your family crosses over with them as well. They are super tricky and near impossible to sort out! Would you be willing to look at one of your memorials and have a second look at the parental links? I have something other than listed, but you may have better knowledge. Thanks for considering :) RC
Laemlein Robert Dear David, Could you please get me a picture of my Uncle Robert Laemlein from Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Roch NY. He was born Nov 4, 1925, and Died Feb 1981, please a picture of his tombstone,it would be so wonderful, and if you can't, thank you so much anyway, thank you for all your work you do in helping others find their loved ones! Mike
Just wanted to thank-you for the pictures you posted. I am the grand-daughter of Helen Schmitz-Roth and George Schmitz. My parents seperated when I was young so I never met my grandfather, and only knew my grandmother for a short time. Seeing these pictures has been a real treat for me. I started w/ancestry.com about a year ago. The information you have posted has been very helpful. If by any chance you have any more pics I would love to see them if I may. My grandmother at one point owned a grocery store in Gates Chili (I think it was Schmitty's or something) where my dad spent alot of time when he was young. I always wondered what the store looked like. Thanks again for posting. Happy Holiday's to you and your family!
