Bio Photo My passions are history, genealogy and anything artistically creative. Find A Grave was a perfect fit. My poor hubby is not always a happy participant, but he tolerates my excesses. Feel free to use any of the photos I have posted

NOTE: I receive so many requests for file transfers that I now only do them for immediate relatives (parent, child, brother or sister). I will gladly make any corrections, connections and/or additions.

RE: Ida May Self Stibers
Yep! Confirmed! Anna Belle Wakler 1920/30 is the exact same as Nannie B Roberts/Self in 1900.
In 1920 one of her Ronets half-brothers was with her.
Didn't need the address.

Still don't know where Louisa and George are buried.

In 1928 Nannie/Anna called her Mom Leu. In 1930 she called herself Lou. Or rhat is how the enumerator wrote it. In 1938 On Ckarles W Roberts D/C the Informant is (looks like) Eliza Roberts. It could be Louisa? (I have macular degeneration. Reading, seeing faces, or anything directly in front of me, is very challenging.) THey had the same address.

I have not yet found her in 1940.

Thank you,
Clive

RE: Ida May Self Stibers
That is a pretty good clue!
If, in the 1930 census, they lived at 211 Greenwood, Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky. That would clinch it.

Thank you,
Clive

RE: Ida May Self Stibers
I have a non-record, alleged, DOD for her mother without burial info. Of 1951. From the Ethington family sute.

Save for, if her mother remarried after her step-father, Charles W Ronerts, died in 1938, She is probably in St Stephens with him.

Her Father's DOD is just approx. I might guess he is in Clay Village, where her brother and nephews are who died a few years after her father's suspected death.

Nothing concrete.

Thank you,
Clive

P.S. I suspect she might have died a divorcée of a Stivers. Poss, a Stagers. Since I have never heard of Stibers in that area. After researching 1.000's. Despite what the record clearly says. That is the only record, so far, I can find woth that Stibers name. I wish I could make out the first name of the Incormant on her D/C.

RE: New Snooks
I gave you all the others and even went on a "Snook Hunt" in Snyder County a few years ago. You are welcome to them since they are part of your family.
