Hometown of Hammond, Indiana, near Chicago. I now live in Boise, Idaho. I've been a paramedic since 1978, as an EMS provider, manager, educator, and in communications. I've been photographing cemeteries and gravesites for several years. I travel frequently and to many locations instructing emergency medical classes, so am able to photograph cemeteries and graves in many parts of the country and some international locations. I have developed a presentation on the art and symbolism of gravestones and cemeteries which I give through the city's Community Education system and at genealogy/family history conferences, and to various historical groups.|
PLEASE USE THE NEW "EDIT" TOOL THROUGH FINDAGRAVE FOR ANY CORRECTIONS OR ADDITIONS. I AM FREQUENTLY IN PLACES WITHOUT INTERNET ACCESS AND MAY NOT GET TO YOUR REQUESTED CORRECTIONS FOR SOME TIME. BE ASSURED IF YOU HAVE SENT IT I WILL EVENTUALLY GET TO IT. PLEASE BE PATIENT.
I'm always available to photograph graves in the Boise/Ada County, Idaho and surrounding areas.
Transfers - FAG TRANSFER POLICY:
How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?
First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.

Yes, David, I noticed that you did that. Nice pictures. However, my guess is that the lady who asked for a picture wanted one when he gets a permanent stone, which he does not have as of yet, because I checked today.
It's great that you got the flowers while they still looked fresh and lovely. They look like fans, wind, and geese have been at them now.
I was looking forward to finding out what FindAGrave would have done when I filled a claim on a memorial they manage.

Hi - The Cedars Cemetery on Reservation Road, Fort Hall, Bingham, Idaho and the Cedar Cemetery in Bannock County, Idaho are the same Cemetery. I was able to take pictures of all the headstones the other day and they are the same as is the maps giving instructions on how to get there.

|Peachy Pringle||RE: A. Auguste Paillet|
Thank you so much. I made memorials for the two Catherine Paillet, and made photo request
These are the only available death records in New Orleans for any Catherine Paillets:
4 Jun 1838
3 Nov 1931
Catherine Villere Paillet
1 Aug 1839
Catherine Burckhart Pelette
19 Jan 1933
Looks like we may have two more different.
Anyway, not your problem.
Thanks much for your help.
|Peachy Pringle||A. Auguste Paillet|
Thank you so much for the photos for A. Auguste Paillet.
My vision is not what it once was; Can you read the dates on the two Catherine Paillets on the bottom panels?
As you are familiar with the burial customs of these raised cemeteries, would you guess that the Adam family is related to the Paillet family? On the middle panel, Victor Adam who died 1918 is the son of Jean-Baptist Adam and Julia Lamie(Lamy); Victoria Adam who died 1930 was Victoria Breaux, his wife. Elmore V.(Victor) Adam who died 1929 was their son who died in Texas. I am not aware of a connection to the Paillet family.

Hello David. I would like to use your photo of the entrance of the Ridgefield, Ohio, Cemetery. Thank your for what is clearly a remarkable portfolio and a valuable contribution to genealogy and family research.
|L M W||Martha McDonald|
Do you know anything about her, who her parents were, where she lived, age at death?
I have a Martha D McDonald, born 14 Feb. 1883, who I am wondering may be this child.

It's fine, it can wait, there's no need for rush. I suggest you have it only re-submitted for now. No need to delete and re-enter. Then, should it not be approved, we'll go to the latter process.
Best regards and thanks,
