The first person I looked up on FAG had two comments on it that were untrue and insulting. I felt bound to respond. I looked up others and felt it right to put in positive and helpful comments that would help readers to appreciate those who have gone before in the journey of life.|
I think this is a very good site. Thanks to all who have worked positively on it. The Bible quotations are from J.N.Darby's Translation.(I have put the Lord where it should be Jehovah in some instances,in case some might think I was a J.W.) I pray that they are appropriate and that they might be a comfort to those who read them. May God bless them all.
As I look at these stones many express Hope in the Resurrection of the bodies of the Saints by the Lord Jesus when He returns. Do not be Left behind at the Rapture. Read 1 Thessalonians 4 v13-18; in your Holy Bible.
When I say unto the wicked. Wicked man thou shalt certainly die: and thou speakest not to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thy hand. Ezekiel 33 v8
If anyone would like to use a photo or adopt a memorial, they are welcome. The photos are often taken in a hurry, I do not have much time. If any verse is thought to be inappropriate, I will change it. Remember the rich man in Luke 16 who said,"I have five brothers...earnestly testify to them, that they also may not come to this place of torment."

Could the name Mountstephen be the same as Mounstephen? Are there any more buried next to James Mounstephen?
This is my ancestors name. They were from Truro, Cornwall, England.

I have asked the admins to put it right.
I have never understood why even the person who sets up a location cannot alter the heading-hundred's of contributors make a typo when setting them up-that's why I always recommend typing out the name into a word document and when it is right, simply copy and paste it in.
There are hundreds of churchyards on findagrave called cemeteries-the Americans don't use the word churchyard
For some reason the whole reply was not sent in the last message.
The point we are making is that our only mission is to see that the pages we control are respectful and contain the correct information. None of this is a comment on you and on your own pages you can post whatever you feel is appropriate as it is your decision and we cannot or would not wish to do change those pages,as we have no interest in them.
Again sorry for the disjointed messages

Don't feel sorry or pray for us as it is unnecessary. If you cannot see that a biblical quotation for a man who we know was a Buddhist, shows that you perhaps need to understand the sensitivity of others and not just make the assumptions that everybody agrees with you and your beliefs.
Thank you for looking at our posts but cannot understand what point you are making with the comment that you made about the relative numbers that we have.
Just to make it clear, as a research project, we are part of a group who are helping findagrave to correct hundreds of thousands of errors that have appeared on this site over the years, put there by people who have no idea about how the burial and commemoration system works. Just guessing for example where our civilian war dead are buried is an anathema to us and we are dedicated to correcting these errors. Mirza Beg is not buried in the City Of London Cemetery and the work is ongoing to find his final resting place. We have taken over many incorrect pages and many thousands more are due.

Please remove the wholly innapropriate message from this memorial. It simply shows you have no respect for the dead when you post the thousands of these messages you leave without thought
Can you please remove the 2 messages left on this memorial
as they are deemed unnecessary. By all means leave the flower annonymously but please do not post these unrequested quotations without the managers approval
|CJ||RE: R A Moffatt|
Thanks for removing it. As you know, funerals are for the living and one of his daughters decided he needed to have a religious funeral for herself and as a show to the public, but Robert was not religious. Thanks for understanding.
