Bio

I am a retired school teacher of 35 years. I became interested in genealogy while researching my father's family. Although he was raised as Frank Gerald Farren,my father's biological father's name was Frank J. Barker. Frank Barker was Little Bessie Barker's brother born in 1886. Through research I was able to find the Barker family in Utah, a loving and caring family not much different from the one I come from. I only wish my father would have had the chance to have known them.
I have a wife of 37 years. We have three sons and a daughter, and four grandsons. Our family is a very close family and we spend much time together. My wife and I are very proud of our children.
My Grandfather has been lost since 1918 and no one in the Barker family knows where he disapeared to. He left Utah just before my father was born. He was a barber and in 1910 worked for the Rio Grande & Denver railroad.
It has become my challenge in life to find him and his last resting place. Any information would be appreciated.
