Some of the memorials I have here are for people I am not related to. I've added the memorial while doing my own genealogy research and wanted in some way to document the information I found about them, and to document their grave location. If you are their relative, I don't have a problem with transferring the memorial to you to manage, as long as I am not related to the person.|

Can you tell about the condition of this cemetery? Is it on private property? If so, who do you get permission from? The picture on Find a Grave looks somewhat unwelcoming.
Are there still Weese families in Gentry Co?
And most of all, do I need to be concerned about snakes? Or should I plan to come when it gets colder?

Thank you for the prompt response. I have Reagan and Barton ancestors from Cass, now Bartow, County, Georgia. Also, Jones from Madison County and nearby. Perhaps we can assist each other. I don't have an online tree except for my Wallace and Queen lines at ancestry.com.
Best regards, Blanche

Greetings - thank you for adding this memorial. I am kin to William through his father, James L. Barton. Could you tell me where you found the name of William's wife (Sarah Caroline Reagan)? I hope to hear from you. Thank you very much. Blanche
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I agree with you and have unlinked these two people. I'm not sure who sent me the suggestion to link them.

I would love and very much appreciate anything you have on James Jones and Lavina (I had it spelled Levina from the stone and have corrected) Holmes. I have her parents as Edmund and Sarah Ann Stark. After that I am stuck. I am constructing a huge family tree aside from history file and that would add a few key branches.
Anything you have on them would be great. I collect all data (dates, places, etc) so please share as I will do if you have holes you need filled.
I did a little crowing to my wife this morning on our relation to President Truman. She is related to Susan B. Anthony and a signer of the Mayflower Compact. I can't seem to piece it together though. I see Holmes in his ancestry, but can't match up the path. Help there would be appreciated also. Thanks cousin.

I have made the correction you asked for and we are cousins on the Smith side. Your Great-aunt Victoria's Grandfather is Absalom Rufus Smith who is my Great-great-great Grandfather. Absalom lead quite the life. If you have any information on his Father (Barnett) or Mother (Martha Staples) it would be most helpful. The trail has run cold for me.

William is a distant relative of mine, but there appears to be two memorials for him. The YOB and YOD are the same. You have him buried in a different though near cemetery with no picture. The other memorial has a headstone picture. I think this is the same person since the parents, etc. are the same according to the memorial text.
Your memorial is more complete.
If you agree and would want me to correct you can just transfer this memorial to me. I will ask the same of the other owner so that I can delete that one and combine them for a more accurate record.

Thank you much; I have looked for her grave and had not located; this helped me. I will seek management of Samuel's also. Thanks for contacting me.

I tried but it still throws it on top. I will remove it as the story has gotten to the family and that was the intent. Thanks Jeff

Hello again! According to the records on the Denver Public Library's site digital.denverlibrary.org he served in the "L" Company of the 87th Regiment, 10th Mountain Division. His last name is also listed there as La Bonte. Interesting. :)
