Bio

I am formerly from Iowa. I spent much of my childhood on a farm near Winthrop. My husband I moved to Colorado in 1950. He passed away in 1985. I have been working on family information and history since 1958 when my Father-in-Law lived with us after my mother-in-Law died. He had run away from home when he was 14, after his mother died and his father quickly remarried to have some one take care of the several very small children. Dad asked me if I would help him find his siblings, as he had not heard from any except one sister all these years . My reply? "Certainly, that should be no problem!" Fifty-five years later I am still hunting and sharing family information. I love this web site! Find A grave is an amazing Web site and I use it every day!
You may use any of my photos and information for your personal use for family research and your own personal genealogy, after all that's what this all is about: sharing information!
