Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have had a lifelong love of family history and cemeteries. I routinely review old newspapers for obituaries and do my best to place a copy on Findagrave. It gives me a sense of accomplishment, whether I've created a record, or uploaded an obituary or photograph.

Each one of us who has this passion, is making a print on history. We are "preserving the past for the future". Family researchers who haven't been born yet, will silently thank us for our contributions.

To all my fellow contributors....YOU ROCK!!! :)

The surnames I research are: Atterbury (various spellings), Baber, Buster, Collins, Dawdy, Ford, Hollings, Kipper(s), Maxey, Meason, McGlothlen, Nickell, Nise, and Taylor.

Please visit my daughter's page. Her name is Jessica Stinson and she was my only child. Her Dad, Greg, died 4 months after she did.

Thank you!

RE: John Jefferson Attebery.
Great! I have added the links between John and his second wife. Let me know if there is anything more I can do to help. Have a great day, Farm Girl from MO.

John Jefferson Attebery.
I now have John Jefferson Attebery linked to two of his three wives. Since his son, Charles has been linked using the family links, I have also removed the hyper links from the bio. area. The hyper links are no longer necessary. If you ever find a memorial for John Jefferson Attebery's second wife, let me know as I would like to link them together as well. Have a nice day, Farm Girl from MO.

To do hyperlinks click on "Help with Find A Grave" to the left of this page and scroll down to where it says "How to link family members". There is a great big long list of letters and numbers, etc. that you will have to copy and past to the bio. area of a memorial. You will then need to remove the space at the beginning and again towards the end of it and insert the memorial number where the X's are and the name where it says NAME! Now you have a hyperlink to a memorial even if the creator of that memorial won't do the links from it. I just wish Find A Grave would do the links for you like they are now doing with name and date corrections but I guess they want to leave that up to the creator of a memorial to do. Have a nice day, Farm Girl from MO.

RE: J. W. Buster (87733546)
I do believe I at least had his name, J.W. Buster but no dates for him. Thanks for providing the dates and his full name to add to his memorial. I appreciate any info. you have been so nice to share with me.

Did you see I fullfilled your photo requests for the Attebery's buried in the La Plata cemetery, La Plata, Macon County, Missouri? I have also done some linking of family members as well. Hope this helps, Farm Girl from MO.

William Atteberry-Attebury
Vicki, I'm on the Forest-Llewellyn Cemetery committee and I've been trying to figure some of this out and you might be able to help me. Was Wm. married and could she be buried here? I'm going to go to the library Tuesday to see how they have the last name spelled and to see if he was married. Are records shows him in a unknown lot in the Llewellyn section. The City of Kirksville maintains the cemetery and you can go to our website kirksvillecity.com, and go to Administration tab, and you can see what records we have so far. Remember we just started this about a year ago so records are being changed all the time, some of the records were not very good.

Joel & Margaret Maxey photo requests.
Sorry but neither Joel or Margaret Maxey, that are buried in the La Plata Cemetery, La Plata, Macon County, Missouri have any stones marking their graves. I have a complete list of names compiled in 1999, taken from stone inscriptions and other records, and Joel and Margaret Maxey are not listed. Evaline Dickinson apparently did have a stone in 1999 and the next time I am in La Plata I hope to get a photo of her stone. Not sure how readable it will be. I just thought you might like to know about the Maxey's not having any stones.

Ford's
I noticed your great work on Find a Grave. Very nice. I was wondering if you have any pictures of Tirey Ford's headstone or if you any sort of place where to find where he is buried? I hear it is on a farm, but that is all I have to go by.

If you have any information you can post to his site, that would be fabulous.

All the best,
Teri Forsyth
