The first person I looked up on FAG had two comments on it that were untrue and insulting. I felt bound to respond. I looked up others and felt it right to put in positive and helpful comments that would help readers to appreciate those who have gone before in the journey of life.|
I think this is a very good site. Thanks to all who have worked positively on it. The Bible quotations are from J.N.Darby's Translation.(I have put the Lord where it should be Jehovah in some instances,in case some might think I was a J.W.) I pray that they are appropriate and that they might be a comfort to those who read them. May God bless them all.
As I look at these stones many express Hope in the Resurrection of the bodies of the Saints by the Lord Jesus when He returns. Do not be Left behind at the Rapture. Read 1 Thessalonians 4 v13-18; in your Holy Bible.
When I say unto the wicked. Wicked man thou shalt certainly die: and thou speakest not to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thy hand. Ezekiel 33 v8
If anyone would like to use a photo or adopt a memorial, they are welcome. The photos are often taken in a hurry, I do not have much time. If any verse is thought to be inappropriate, I will change it. Remember the rich man in Luke 16 who said,"I have five brothers...earnestly testify to them, that they also may not come to this place of torment."

Thank you for transferring the memorial to me - and thank you again for going to the trouble of creating it in the first place and, by doing so, bringing this site to my attention. All that's needed now is for you to remove your verse to make way for our family tributes.
Meur ras bras!

Hello again, reading further as I explore the site, I see I can ask to take over management of this memorial. Since this is my grandfather I think this would be a good thing for me to do and I see from your own page that you are happy to do that. So can we arrange that, please?

Thank you. I'm still finding my way around. I will let you know when my mother has decided.

I have added the location to the photo of the church I provided, but it was already in the cemetery listing. I'm not sure if that's what you were asking for, but I tried to help.

I've only recently discovered this wonderful site. May I ask for you to remove the verse you left on my grandfather's page as my mother would like to choose something close to her heart. Thank you for creating the page, pity the grave looked unkempt when you were there. I have many dozens of better photos and will choose a nice one.
I was wondering about the missing person. I have also wondered why there so few find a grave memorials in the UK/England. There has to be over a thousand years of history.
There are limited Carlyon family on the site.

First of all absolutely incredible to look back and see a photo of my 5th Great Grandfather's headstone in England. I live in California. And want to say thank you for posting the photo. Did you happen to notice any other Bullock headstones there? Thank again I truly appreciate it.
Could the name Mountstephen be the same as Mounstephen? Are there any more buried next to James Mounstephen?
This is my ancestors name. They were from Truro, Cornwall, England.
