I am always on the lookout for unusual names, have added quite a few that are the only one listed, which is hard to do on here.I will always do the edit, but do not write everybody to let them know I did..I get so many edit requests, and do not mind doing them at all...Thanks .I live in Baton Rouge La.Though I have listings in many states, most are within a days drive on my home.I really enjoy fulfilling photo requests, it is like a treasure hunt, and I like knowing I am helping a loved one connect in some small way.I love driving back roads and finding cemeteries in the middle of nowhere.I add veterans of most all the wars,as a small tribute to those that have shaped our country. But I have a special affinity for the guys of World War II.These soldiers are the reason today we are a free country and we are losing them at a rate of over 1100 a day.Take time out to thank them .And then there are the ones that reach out and for whatever reason touch me.I also seek any family last names, such as Cox,Cover,Vaughn.I usually enter the info directly from the grave marker, but will add any info requested. If any errors are found please let me know and I will correct.I do find such peace and love and sadness while walking these sites. Also every one of these I have entered I actually walked the cemetery. Therefore a little more personal to me. .I want to apologize for all my errors. When I first started entering graves 14 years ago, i wrote the info down and transferred it, many times it was raining or I just could not understand my writing. Later years I add from a picture usually. So please forgive my early attempts|

Yes, Jefferson at Tiger Bend. Oak Lodge Cemetery and Harelson are right next to each other. Both of these small cemeteries have been neglected, especially in the back, unseen from the roadside.

Doing well, although I thought I was going to die in Harelson Cemetery recently.
I had just dropped a tree growing on top of one of the graves and was cutting it up with my chainsaw when I threw a limb behind me and hit an underground yellow jackets nest. Man, they were all attacking my head! At first those little suckers were crawling around in my hair but their stings never penetrated through. I didn't even realize what was going on until I got stung on my face and then all over my back. I hurdled a hurricane fence and ran faster than I ever did in high school or in the military! I bet it was pretty funny to see a grown man running like there was no tomorrow and screaming like a little girl who had just dropped her doll off the top of a ferris wheel!
Thought about going to the hospital just in case, but like most typical men I forgot about it and went back to work. My back looked like someone who had the chicken pox! I should have started running sooner!
Merry Christmas to you and yours Bobby!

Hey Bobby Joel,
Thanks for the recent additions you have done for me. It's been a while since we have talked through this website. I can see that you have been very busy kicking up some dust in quite a few cemeteries lately. I hope and pray all is well with you and yours.
Thanks again for all you do on Find-A-Grave!

Thank you again so much, Bobby!!! I moved these from St Louis #3 to False River. They are listed on the same stone as Warren J Stowell and Blanche Elizabeth Loupe Stowell.
Ulger C Delaune 1866-1956
Mathilda Kerne Delaune 1870-1959
Arsene Edward Delaune 1892-1968
Blanche Delaune Loupe 1895-1941
Would you please add the photos to these 4 memorials? Thank you!!!!!
Thank you so much for trying to locate her grave.
I do appreciate it.

Neither of these people are buried in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. They are both buried in Magnolia Cemetery. Please remove your memorial to them listing them in St. Joseph.
