I wish to thank everyone who left tokens on my husbands memorial. Sorry I could not thank everyone individually.|
The Lord called my husband home on June 3,2013.
Please stop by his memorial.
Frank Gordon Neely
I am a breast cancer survivor (since 2005). My cancer was stage three so I count myself very blessed.
I also have RA so my activities are limited sometimes. I have been working on my family history while I have time on my hands.
I live in Fort Worth TX. My Mother's family is from New Boston, Bowie County TX and my Dad's is from Groesbeck, Limestone County TX. My mother is an Alexander and my Dad is a Herod. I enjoy family history and old photographs and I find old cemeteries interesting.
We give our love ones back to God.
And just as He first gave them to us
and did not lose them in the giving,
so we have not lost them
in returning them to Him...
for life is enternal, love in immortal,
death is only a horizon...
and a horizon is nothing
but the limit of our earthly sight.

The other link is 148155171. She is buried with her first husband Ross Medlock who died early. She later married Albert Bell. I didn't realize the other until after I created the one above with the family links.

Oh thank you so much for taking these, there are so many open photo requests for Greenwood I didn't think they would ever be taken. I understand about the A/C, certainly getting to be that time of the year. There's no rush so please take your time. According to the office my grandparents Mildred and Roy Rodgers are near the rear entrance to the mausoleum on the North-East side if that helps. Thank you again, you're very kind.

Kay, thank you for adding the photos of Dennis M Raney & Elizabeth R Raney's (my aunt & uncle) marker. I appreciate your efforts.

Hi Kay, I was wondering if you knew the DNA Haplo marker for your Alexanders. There are two groups of Alexanders R1a1 and R1b1. The two groups are not related. I am the lead volunteer for the R1a1 Alexanders. Many of them lived in Henry and Madison County, Tennessee. Hope to hear from you. Carole Lee Alexander

Thank you so much Kay. I am one of the big historians for the African American families in Limestone County. (I am also a descendant of the Tehuacana (or Tawakoni) Tribe from Robertson & Limestone Counties. My African-American family has been in the Mexia area since 1842 and I am undertaking a project to track all burials and locations. I appreciate your time. I am adding photos and details to the profiles that you have transferred. Have an awesome day.
