RE: Mary Brewer
Hi Christa,
Laverne was my 1st cousin but I have never met her.My father was half brother to her dad.
Her brother Lawrence was a good friend I mentored him in the history and genealogy of the Herndons.
Lawrence has moved to CA.
Their brother Jesse Earl died last week and I saw his obit saying she had passed..then I found her obit online.Jesse obit has been posted to his Find A Grave memorial if you want to read it..
If I remember correctly you live near Parsons area..My mom was a Franks..most of them buried at Flatwoods..I think you said you know my Uncle Don Franks..Pastor at Corinth Baptist at Darden..Holly BoBo"s family goes there..
Its a small world!!
I can send you Mary Laverne's obit if you give me your e-mail or you can google it and find it also.
Best,Kay Herndon Foglesong

RE: Winnie and Louis Juist
Your welcome! I was taking a picture and noticed the name, and was glad it was who you were looking for, also added three other Juists. The graves are part of a "circle" which I assume is an older Dutch part of the cemetery.

RE: Baby
Hi, How is Peyton Alexander doing? I have a new great granddaughter now, born 30th December 2014. Her name is Skye Irene Faye. She and her mom had a very tough time before and after, but both seem to be doing well now. Thought about you on St. Patricks Day, did you all have fun? Hope you are all well. Take care, Jackie

Nancy McGill
I have been trying to prove that Peyton Herrin is Nancy Herrin McGill'S father. Do you have records to prove this?

John Malcolm Beaton Brewer
Do you happen to know anything about 2 earlier marriages to 2 different McGills? I see Tennessee marriages to Rebecca & Luisa just 2 years apart and before his marriage to Alsup. I'm trying to determine if the J. M. Brewer is John Malcolm. Thanks for any info. Brewer was a 1st cousin. Regards, Bill

RE: George Stevens
Your welcome!
I already added the same photo to his wife Mary's memorial. I thought the memorial was in the same cemetery.

Thanks Christa, I know my memorial is a duplicate. I am waiting for Janet to update hers with the cemetery information for anyone who might be interested in actually finding the grave. Then I will delete mine.

RE: Wheatley vs Sulfur Creek
I think Clara Nell wrote an article decades ago talking about the Sulfur Creek "area" and the cemeteries in close proximity. If I remember correctly Wheatley was one of the 3 or 4 she mentioned. I did get the .pdf file and really enjoyed looking it over. I thought I thanked you. I apologize if I didn't. Thank you, Rick

Sulphur Creek Cemetery
I found a John L Gatlin that his death certificate dated March 1, 1913 shows him to be buried in Sulphur Creek cemetery. Any idea as to how I could verify this or get more information?
