Bio Photo I'am just an old retired Cowboy:
If there is anyway i can help someone just let me know, I'am a proud born again Christian who Loves Jesus with all my Heart, am willing to talk to anyone about Him, so if you just need to chat we will sit around the camp fire and Chat away, send me a msg.

"Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past." (Deuteronomy 32:7 "

"Speak the Truth in Love" (Ephesians 4:15)

Each one of us should always remember we are working with people's love and emotion, when dealing with their dearly departed- let's work together in kindness and say a Prayer along the way

Anyone wishing to have a memorial transfered please use the Edit Key !!!!!!!!!!!!!

My simple Prayer:
Oh Lord, I reckon I'm not much.I fail a lot of things You know I ought to do. but when I make my last ride and get life's final call, my only hope will be, For me to hear You say " COME ON MY CHILD IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO RIDE WITH ME'

My Thoughts for the Veterans who died for us:
Tread lightly, This is a soldiers grave, Who fought in a Foreign land,Not afraid when freedom called they raised their hand, Giving their life they were buried in a simple mound; And yet to folks like you and me It should be Honored ground. . .

Here is my motto:
If one lives in the heart's of those they leave behind, With Jesus by their side, then truly they do not die, for they are not lost to memory! And never lost to love! But gone to be with our Father in His house above!

TO ALL CHRISTIANS:
To the broken hearted who are left behind, we extend sympathy. We can only remind you that they are not dead, rather simply asleep-resting after a long and well-spent life here. Though they are gone their record has been made and is written in the Book of Life Which God will Open and read aloud someday, and their memory will remain with you a lasting treasure.

Thanks for adding some of my relatives. Could you please add Annie Wells as the daughter of Frank Ellis Wells? Frank "Ellis" is my maternal grandfather. She is buried in the family plot with just one date. We are uncertain if it was her birth date or death date. Her mother would have been Edyth.

Richard, if any of those are your kin just let me know and I'll be glad to transfer them to you. We were just riding around the area and found that cemetery. At the time it was overgrown and I was drawn to it and created memorials for some of them.. Love old cemeteries like that. Being in Texas and isolated just added to it's draw. BTW, that's a great testimony you present in your profile. Bill

Doss Descendants
Hello again,

If you have not stopped by the Doss Brothers memorials in awhile, I thought I should mention that I was finally able to get a hold of some new pictures of the brothers, Felix's descendants and their husbands, as well as two pictures of Vera Mae.

The pictures are not all on their memorials yet but should be by next week as I am having copies made and will include better scans than the ones currently uploaded.

Furthermore, it turns out that a descendant of one of the brothers passed away without leaving a will and under Texas intestacy laws, this individual's estate is being divided among certain Doss kin.

As part of the legal paperwork, we received current contact information for other living Doss descendants, which will no doubt prove extremely beneficial in terms of locating additional family photographs, bibles, stories and more. It is like I was hit with a family history jackpot!

I was wondering if there is anything particular you might be looking for in terms of information, pictures, records etc. on these parts of the family tree? I am getting in touch with the other descendants and I thought I should mention this in case I might be able to assist you with any research you may be working on.

Love always,

Cousin

Richard, As soon as I get time to go through my photo albums, I will get some pictures posted....You remember us talking about Marge Mayo and me thinking she had passed. I was wrong. I went on your fb page and got in touch with the Marge you were telling me about and we have talked on the phone since then.. You asked me if she was short and I remember her being really tall. I guess I remember her that way since I was a little kid last time I saw her. Its been over 45 years so she looked tall to me. LO. Thank you Richard. God Bless .Bev.

Richard, I finally finished my Dad's Bio. I know it is very long but there was so much to tell. I cut quite a bit out of my original draft. After all, how do you sum up a loved ones life in just a few paragraphs. I hope you enjoy it....God bless...Bev.

Melvina Lavinia Flatt Burchett
Hi,

You have done a LOT of work!!! I have been trying to find what happened to John and Melvina for some time. I knew Viney (Melvina) lived with a son in her old age but lost track of John after he left the war. Pretty sure he deserted with brothers. My question for you would be whether you know the cemetery where Melvina is buried. There is no picture and I didn't see a cemetery listed.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK!!!
