Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'am just an old retired Cowboy:
If there is anyway i can help someone just let me know, I'am a proud born again Christian who Loves Jesus with all my Heart, am willing to talk to anyone about Him, so if you just need to chat we will sit around the camp fire and Chat away, send me a msg.

"Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past." (Deuteronomy 32:7 "

"Speak the Truth in Love" (Ephesians 4:15)

Each one of us should always remember we are working with people's love and emotion, when dealing with their dearly departed- let's work together in kindness and say a Prayer along the way

My simple Prayer:
Oh Lord, I reckon I'm not much.I fail a lot of things You know I ought to do. but when I make my last ride and get life's final call, my only hope will be, For me to hear You say " COME ON MY CHILD IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO RIDE WITH ME'

My Thoughts for the Veterans who died for us:
Tread lightly, This is a soldiers grave, Who fought in a Foreign land,Not afraid when freedom called they raised their hand, Giving their life they were buried in a simple mound; And yet to folks like you and me It should be Honored ground. . .

Here is my motto:
If one lives in the heart's of those they leave behind, With Jesus by their side, then truly they do not die, for they are not lost to memory! And never lost to love! But gone to be with our Father in His house above!

To the broken hearted who are left behind, we extend sympathy. We can only remind you that they are not dead, rather simply asleep-resting after a long and well-spent life here. Though they are gone their record has been made and is written in the Book of Life Which God will Open and read aloud someday, and their memory will remain with you a lasting treasure.

RE: Robert A. Allen, Jessie M. Allen
Thanks a lot for your efforts, I learned a lot from your direction. I probably would have known much more had I known about the memorial for Mary Emma Sims. There is no link to her memorial on Robert's memorial.
Thanks again for the help, I get the feeling you live in Oklahoma from your email address.

No. I'm sorry, I do not. I do know that his wife's name was Therese Patricia Logan Yastic.

Mossy Grove Cemetery, Ezzell Texas
I notice you have done a few Ponton family members memorials here. I am the president of the Ponton Family Reunion. I just found you today on here. If you are related in any way to the Ponton family, we are having a reunion on Saturday at the Schoolhouse at Ezzell. It begins around 9:30 a.m. and we have lunch there. We share family news and history. We are in the process of a cemetery marker cleaning project. I have been to Mossy Grove and surveyed our needs there. We have several markers that need to be repaired or cleaned. Anyway, I digress. Hoping if you are related, you join us. If you aren't related, I thank you for taking the time to create our family memorials. I am just one person and it is an overwhelming task to create them. Thank you!

Sterling Abernathy: Itasca Cem
Evening Richard,
Precious and I went out there today, spent 3 hours "cemetery stomping" & attempting to fill requests, unfortunately this was -not- one of them, and we had a plot map.
The only Abernathy that I located in Section F3 was Jewel. Buried to the left of her I detected the remains of an adult male and to the right was an adult female.
Just FYI.
Later, James Coston

Thank you for making the changes. I've found a couple more death certificates that show her name as Tanksley on a couple more of her children. - Sue

RE: Annie E Parkersby Moore
Yes, there has been some confusion on her maiden name, and why the son's death certificate showed the other, I can't answer there, but everything I've researched on Ancestry, it is Tanksley. i have a copy of her marriage records for her & Thomas Denton ( T D) Moore.

I have also just located a death certificate for another child and they show Annie Inley, What can I say. I'm researching for a family member right now.

If you wish not to accept changes, I will go along. I'm still trying to locate a death certificate for Annie now.

RE: Mount Tabor Cemetery
I do not know where the cemetery records for Mt. Tabor are. My gg grandfather and mother are there, Jacob and Mary Moore. I photographed the entire cemetery, give or take a few stones, May of 2013. In the row where Clara's memorial is, are stones for Edna E and Pinkie H Hitt, Mary and Infant Ratliff, Wesley Beavers, S, J, Beavers, Clara Hitt, Walter Hitt, Infant Son Hitt, Alma Hitt Williamson, Ola Hitt, Robert Ellis Hitt.(112116350, 112249171, 112249243, 111731600, 111731572, 112116301, 112304075, 112116653, 112116693) These are all side by side in the row, in the order photographed. Not certain everyone is related but the probably are. I saw nothing of Maberry's marker.
