Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Temple University Hospital in Pennsylvania and grew up all over the Phila area and Delaware County. I moved to New Jersey when with my Mother and twin sister Lisa when I was 16. Now I am a Jersey girl. I am 50 years old, married to my husband Georgie for 27 years. I was diagnosed with MS in 2001 and it has left me disabled. I am also now type I diabetic. I am a HUGE Frank Zappa fan; I have a passion for books, art and music. I love skin art, tattoos; I am an ink addict. Most of my tattoos are in memory of my lost loved ones, and of course Frank Zappa. I try to get one in memory of Lisa, every year on our birthday.I was a librarian that worked for our county library system for nearly 10 years until chronic pain led me to resign. But you can take the girl out of the library but you can't take the library out of the girl! Having to give up my job was one of the worst part of having MS. I am a Dogmom currently to 1 dog named Hannah, after my Mother. George & I;We rescue dogs from the animal shelter. My husband and I are both dog lovers. We will always own and love dogs. I am also a survivor of suicide; my twin sister Lisa Grissom killed herself in 1982. I will never get over her death, never. I was the one who found her. I have been dreaming of her since the day she died and will forever, until the day I die. I stumbled upon this wonderful website and found that it helps tramendiously with my grieving. It is a way for me to celebrate Lisa's life and the lives of my many relatives and friends, pets who have passed; my Mother Hannah Grissom and my only brother James Grissom. Thanks so much to those of you who have left flowers for my loved ones! I will do the same for you. God bless, Peace.

Thank you for Flower at Grandparents(Montagna) Grave ...
You visited several years ago and left a flower/token on my Grandparents (Montagna) Grave ... I was not a member yet so I am thanking you now (for then)

God Bless ... and sorry on the loss of your sister Lisa ...

Make sure you take extra vitamin B12 EVERYday (try Garden of Life B-12 organic spray - 4 sprays 2xs/day ... not too late in the evening it might give you energy at bedtime) ... and look into your adrenal health and DHEA levels. My guess is your DHEA levels are low and that effects body and emotions and immune system and so very much.

There is no other loss like the loss of a twin ... you feel like HALF YOUR heart has died ... take care of yourself this loss is hard on the adrenals (no matter how many years have passed) if you haven't focused on healing the adrenals (your MS may be related to twin grief which needs special attention to fully heal ... time alone will not do it on a deep enough level ... DHEA & adrenals ... start looking there in your search for healing)

You are in my prayers ...

Happy Holidays!
Saw your profile and just wanted to say, "Hi!"

I was diagnosed (officially) Jan. 29, 2004 at AGH in Pittsburgh, PA. I have Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (MS). I'm not from here, I've been to (and lived) all over the world, but I have been in Pennsylvania since 9/11.

Stay strong, keep graving, and have a wonderful Holiday!

Find a Grave reminder (again)
Please remember to post only one (1) virtual flower per memorial, per day. Leaving several flowers on each memorial at one time, or each day, is considered excessive and contrary to the intent of the Virtual Flowers feature.

Thank you,
