|I have been researching our family's genealogy for over 24 years now. I've lost so many loved-ones in the past 10 years, that I want to assure their names are permanently recorded in cyberspace. Who knows, perhaps 50 to 100 years from now, someone of my lineage will want to know about them as I am searching for those who've gone on before us.|
It is my "personal" request that you NOT post Death Records on ANY Memorials that I have posted. Personal photos and Headstones-Markers are welcomed and appreciated ONLY. Thank you for your cooperation.

Good morning! I am a descendant of Blount and Benjamin Carr and would like to find out what additional information you have regarding this part of my family tree.
|Mary OBrien||Fogg Family|
Hi, I think what you are doing is wonderful. I am also doing the same thing for the OBrien family and for the Fogg Family here in CT. I am writing a Fogg Family History completing the work one of the Fogg's of CT was doing until he became ill. I am trying to find out about George and Thomas Fogg of Franklin, NC. George has descendants here in CT and in MA and CA. I need info on Thomas as Betsy and Joseph's son and who were the parents of George. If you can give me any help, I would be so grateful and so would the family. Thank you. Mary O
|Tia Jones||Gallop Family Cemetry|
I have just begun doing research on my mothers side of the family. I see that you have information on the Gallop family. My great grandmother was Ruth Gallop Jones, daughter of James and Susan Gallop. I was wondering if you have any information on my relatives or pictures of them. I am not sure what direction to head in being that I am brand new to this, so anything would help. Thank You!
So I wanted to update you.... I made my way out to Creeksville AME Zion church, and I will be returning tomorrow. There are several graves that have nothing but the name card they place when someone is burried, and only a few of them are legible. One I found actually was last name Barney. First name is very hard to make out, but seems like it says Cage, but not very sure. I do know that it says they were born in 1907 and died september 25, and the year seems to be 1974. That being said, there are also a couple that are in the wooded area that I will have to work to uncover. I saw no other Barneys burried here. Not even the ones listed in find a grave were found, but I also am going to continue to call the church itself and see about getting burial records for the grounds and see how far back they go if any exist. I will keep you posted.

Hello again. So I have been doing some research, and have seen that there are more than 5 interments at creeksville AME zion church where there are some others related to you. HOWEVER there are, infact, more than 5 in total there. It may be a long shot, but probably around Tuesday or so I am going to go explore and see IF by any chance the lost Mcneill/Barneys are there OR maybe close by. I will touch base with you when I have news.. Wish me luck

Zoom in on North Carolina and hover over Wake County and you'll see there is 159 Depression era pics. Click on the link and go to photos 121-159, they are of Fagan Jones Sr and his farm and his family. Thought you might like to see them.

Hi, thanks for responding so quickly! I just realized I typed in the wrong middle name for William D Hawes. It is Dawson, not Douglas. Enjoy your travels!!
|Lynn Nappier||Hawes Family|
I'm doing research on my family and believe that there has been a mix-up on your bio for William D. Hawes on Find A Grave #142760786. William Calvin Hawes and William Douglas Hawes are father and son. William Calvin Hawes, born 1857 in Pender, North Carolina is the father of William D. Hawes. According to William Calvin Hawes' death certificate, he died Oct. 3, !930, due to being hit by a car, he was also a widower, and he is the son of Lucy Corbett Hawes and James Hawes. His son William D. Hawes was born March 1865 and died of bladder cancer on Jan. 22, 1948. He was not hit by a car. He was the one married to Roxie L. Hawes. Of course, I could be wrong but I do have some documentation. Can we work on this? We just had a family reunion 2 weeks ago and I'm trying to correct mistakes that I see.

If you have been researching the Petersons surely you have run into Hayes. We should discuss :)
