|I have been researching our family's genealogy for over 24 years now. I've lost so many loved-ones in the past 10 years, that I want to assure their names are permanently recorded in cyberspace. Who knows, perhaps 50 to 100 years from now, someone of my lineage will want to know about them as I am searching for those who've gone on before us.|

|Lynn Nappier||re: Hawes|
Hi, thanks for responding so quickly! I just realized I typed in the wrong middle name for William D Hawes. It is Dawson, not Douglas. Enjoy your travels!!
|Lynn Nappier||Hawes Family|
I'm doing research on my family and believe that there has been a mix-up on your bio for William D. Hawes on Find A Grave #142760786. William Calvin Hawes and William Douglas Hawes are father and son. William Calvin Hawes, born 1857 in Pender, North Carolina is the father of William D. Hawes. According to William Calvin Hawes' death certificate, he died Oct. 3, !930, due to being hit by a car, he was also a widower, and he is the son of Lucy Corbett Hawes and James Hawes. His son William D. Hawes was born March 1865 and died of bladder cancer on Jan. 22, 1948. He was not hit by a car. He was the one married to Roxie L. Hawes. Of course, I could be wrong but I do have some documentation. Can we work on this? We just had a family reunion 2 weeks ago and I'm trying to correct mistakes that I see.

|Alicia Battle aka Cia20||Reginald James of Hertford County|
I am writing to you about a Find A Grave entry you have contributed back in 2013. Reginald James is a cousin of mine and I am also researching our Ancestry, on Ancestry.com.
Would you happen to be on Ancestry.com? What additional information do you have about Reginald James and his descendants? I would love to connect with you and exchange information if you are interested. Just reply to me at this email address: firstname.lastname@example.org, and I hope to hear from you soon!
I noticed your flowers on the grave for Della Long Ponton. I was wondering if you knew of any living descendants of her in the Halifax County area. I believe that her daughter, Della Ponton, is my great-great-grandmother. That was the name of my great-grandmother's (who recently passed away) mother, and she had run away from home without remaining in contact with her family. My family is looking to connect with her family again. My great-grandmother, whose maiden name was Jeanette Farrow, had a sister named Carolyn, who would have been born in the late '30s to the early '40s. She may still be alive, considering the fact that I can't find records of her death. I'm not sure how much you are involved in this side of the family, but please let me know if I have any information.

Thank you Sandi for taking extra time to send me information for her memorial. I appreciate it very much and so will future generations! I will never forget this particular cemetery!! Within two days of recording it, my daughter and I were both covered in poison ivy and chiggers! We were a MESS ... can you imagine having both of them at the same time?? It was awful. Again, thanks for sending along the information.....
