This is a great site and I have found many friends, and cousins that I didn't know I had and I cherish each one.|
Thank you all for the beautiful tokens on my family & friends sites. I appreciate them all.
I am looking for any Sanders contacts/family from Blount County Alabama or any of the Graves family from Blount County Alabama.
You may notice from my sponsorship that I have a very warm soft spot for all animals. I believe that our Lord gave each and every dog, cat, ferret
and your choice of pet for us all to take care of and cherish until they take the trip to to Rainbow Bridge. I asked a good friend of mine, a good ole Baptist preacher what happened when a pet passed away, where did they go. He replied "they are all waiting for us, what else would a forgiving Lord do". I cried, just remembering how may pets I have had during my lifetime and how wonderful it will be to hug them and play with them again.(thank you Alan, I needed to hear that) Of course I miss my family that have gone before me, but I know I will be with them soon and knowing all the animals I have loved will be there too just makes it that much more comfortable.
If you have time, please visit my husband,
Vincent D. Dawson,
my Mom, Billie Jo Graves and
my Dad, George W. Graves.
Thank you all for the tokens from everyone they are very much appreciated.

|Juanda||Bis and Farley|
When I saw you had sponsored their memorials brought tears to my eyes this morning. They were very special to me and I loved them so very much.
Biscuits was a sweet heart. She never left my side. One of my cherished memories of her was when she thought she had gotten away with climbing in my bed at night. She would put one leg up,then wait to see it she was caught, then she with continue with her other legs, she would flop and roll on her back and fall asleep. She was so special and so loving. She will always remain in my heart
Farley was my protector. He owned me. hahaha. He might have been a little but never knew it, he thought he was superman. He never backed off from anything or anyone. He will always be with me. I miss him so very much. He was more than a dog, he was my baby boy.
Thank you so very much for your kindness. You are a very special person.

My heart still hurts about Samantha. I first knew her as a 4th grader. I also ended up as her teacher in 8th and 9th grade. She even friended me on myspace later on. She gave me her number. I called to check on her. Samantha told me that she and another girl, Jessica were hanging out together. That was the last time we talked. I can still hear her voice. Thanks for responding.
|Michele Goff||RE: Your Mom|

|Betty Bunch||RE: Thomas Graves|
I did send you a message yesterday. I don't know if you saw it or not. But something else I know about Thomas is that he lived near the Alabama line for several years near Ranburne. My grandmother was born in Bowdon, Georgia. But his father was named Augustus whose father was named John whose father was named John born in 1763 and arriving in Fayette County, Georgia around 1830. Although Thomas did not have many brothers, Augustus was the eldest son in a large family in Fayetteville.
|Betty Bunch||Thomas Graves|
He was my granmother's Uncle. His Dad named Augustus was killed in the Civil War and left his wife with only three children to raise. One was my great-grandmother named Roxie and her brother named Thomas. I don't know much about the other child but think his name was Judson Hubbard. Augustus was born into the Graves family in Fayette county, Georgia, the first ancestor being John Graves who was born in 1763 and he has a DAR marker on his brave. That's about all I know about Uncle Tom accept that he was married two times. I have 7 generations of relatives buried in this cemetery and I plan on being there one day myself. I think that John born in 1763 had two brothers who came with him to Fayette County and I guess it's possible that your Graves line may come from one of them. I don't know. Well take care and I hope I have help you some in your search.
