I'm working on pictures of tombstones around Pierre, South Dakota and obits from Mitchell and Huron, South Dakota papers. I do put up obits with the source and date if possible. If you see one from your family member you want taken down let me know. If you notice something inaccurate on a memorial let me know so I can fix it. |
If you would like to use a photo that I took, you are more then welcome to do so.

|JHaight||Mary Coler Murray|
Mary Coler Murray I believe is the same person as Mabel E. Murray at Find A Grave site 23967542. You will note that the birth dates/death dates match. Frank Murray was married to Mabel who was sometimes called Mary. Mabel's maiden name was Kohler. I believe the obituary listed for Mary Coler is the obituary for Mabel Kohler Murray. I note Mary has no grave site listed and I can account for all 5 graves in this plot with the Murray members already noted. Can you check and verify? J Haight

|Rita Sporrer||John and Emma Vondra|
Hi, I have submitted some edits to the memorials for John and Emma Vondra, my great aunt and great uncle.
John and Emma were siblings, not spouses. They were the last 2 on the family farm, and were close to each other. Neither of them were ever married. There were 5 Vondra brothers, and not one of them married. There were 8 Vondra sisters, and all but Emma was married. My grandmother, Josephine Sporrer, was their sister.
I have submitted information to link them to their parents.
Thank you for your work on their memorials!

This is the memorial for Wallace E. Calhoon. Thank you for addng the information that I sent to you so promptly. It is greatly appreciated. I am getting ready to work on the bio for his wife Mary Donaldson Goddard Calhoon soon. She has a stone on her memorial but there isn't one for Wallace Calhoon. Would you happen to know if he has one?
Thank you for any help that you can give me.
