RE: Yeager-Kistner Photo
I will look for them. I remember seeing some Kitchen headstones, almost took pictures of them, have some Kitchens on my tree also, but they were women that married into the tree.

You are welcome Bill, I will get back over to the cemetery sometime soon to look for the others. I didn't expect it to be that big and it was also a rainy day so didn't get a good search in. Also took a little while to find it, it isn't where Find A Grave map shows it.

RE: Hattie May Poland Weaver Memorial
I found a way to convert the pdf file to jpg and posted the death certificate to her FindaGrave memorial page. If you would like a clearer copy, feel free to contact me directly, but perhaps this will suffice. Good Luck in your research!

RE: Hattie May Poland Weaver Memorial
I have Hattie's death certificate, which gives her mother's name as Katherine, with a question mark behind it. If you want to contact me privately mikeamilliken@gmail.com I can send you a copy of her death certificate if that is of interest to you.

RE: Hattie May Poland Weaver Memorial
I am not directly related to Hattie Poland, however I have a very indirect relationship to both of her husbands. Since Highland Cemetery is quite small, I photographed all of the legible grave markers and posted them on FindaGrave.

RE: Gate of Heaven
Yes, sounds silly to me also! I am just passing on his wishes. Sorry.

Regarding your request for a photo of marker for Paul Schlegel, please contact Joe at 717-697-0206. Advise him that you are relative, and that I am authorized to take the photo. Then please request that he call me at 717-790-0788 with the grave location. He may opt just to send you the photo directly.
Thanks,
Chuck

Slagele Photos
Hi Bill,

I really enjoyed the story of you finding these photos at an VA antique mall and then locating them to their findagrave memorial. Awesome!

The thought of looking for old photos with names at antique stores and then trying to find them a home never occured to me. The next time I'm in an antique store, I will try your process.

George H. Slagle is a son per the 1900 & 1910 US Censuses. I will spend more time linking the Slagle family. Also, the cemetery photo did not count in the limit of five photos.

Great work. Thank you very, very much.

Mike
