photo request for Paul Dreher
Thanks so for taking the photo of Paul's marker. He was a friend of mine in the Air Force. We were stationed together at Plattsburgh AFB, NY.

Hello Bill,
I will look and see where I got that information, and correct it if I have him in the wrong cemetery.
Thank you.

The Yeager Family

Does anyone know of a Madaline Yeager ( I dont know her maiden name), She was married to a John Yeager, who died in Oct 1840.
They had 7 children, Jacob, John, Peter, Lewis, Henry, Mary and Susanna.
I found this info on a petition to the orphans court, it also states that Mary was married to a David Mower and Susanna was a minor child when the petition was drawn up in 1842.

His ancestor is Peter S. Yeager.

Hi Cousin Bill,

I believe the above information is about our Henry Yeager's father and mother. I have a handwritten note from my grandfather stating who his father's (Simon Swank Yeager) uncles and aunts were. Two are missing from my list ~ John Yeager and Susanna Yeager Mutchler. She died after giving birth to Laura C. Mutchler. Laura was living in Henry and Rebecca Swank Yeager's home. Her father was Isaac Mutchler. Simon never knew his aunt Susanna ~ she died before he was born. I would like to know what happen to him.

Happy hunting,
Cousin Lynne

Yeager's Bear Gap
Hi Cousin,

I received this message today at my Find A Grave page. I thought that you might like to correspond with her.

My great grandfather, Simon Swank Yeager, was John S. Yeager's brother.

Yeager's Bear Gap
Hello, I see you have information posted about the Yeager's in Bear Gap. Are you related to them (I see family information). I ask because I have been researching the Yeager's of Roaring Creek and I have information on John and am trying to put it all together, If you or someone you know are descended from this line I would love to correspond. I have courthouse documentation that Magdalena (wife of John) may have married a Stein after John died. Hope to hear back from you. thank you so much Kim

RE: Catharine Huber Headstone
I could never find where I could get a map of the listings of grave sites if you click on map on the Schoenersville Cemetery it shows the aerial photo of the cemetery, but not who is located where. So many of the older stones are unreadable, and too fragile for rubbing.
I have left the area so I cannot go back, not to mention there are 3,466 graves listed as being there!!Sorry I could not find her.

RE: Catharine Huber Headstone
Hi!!! I have found 2 out of the 4 Catharine Hubers. Wife of Isaac 1814-1862, and wife of John D 1821-1907. I am still looking for the Caherine Huber 1823-1847,and 1754-1802 Catharine Barbara Schmidt Huber wife of Heinrich.

I have one more trip, maybe two I can make before I leave the area. A goodly number of these headstones are totally worn to the point of being unreadable. I have not been able to get a listing of actual grave
locations, so it makes it almost impossible to know who is there. I have looked up translations for the German tombstones, so will go back and try to read the ones I can still see. They are so fragile rubbing is not an option. But I will try!!!
