*****If I have a picture of a tombstone already on the memorial, please do not add another. Adding multiple pictures of the same stone clog up the memorial and other pictures can not be added by the family when transferred. Thank you.******
****A big THANK YOU to all of the people who contribute to Find A Grave, whether it is adding memorials, pictures, taking volunteer photos or adding flowers/token. We all make this a wonder site and a wealth of information****
I was thrilled when I found this site. I have loved cemeteries since I was little and love the thought of making memorials for those we loved and those long ago forgotten about.
I like to wander the cemetery and try to photograph an entire section. Not always an easy task. But well worth the effort.
If you see any errors or have additional information to add to my listings please let me know using the edit tab on the memorial.
Also, if we share any ancestors please contact me, I would love to share information, pictures, etc. My family names are my virtual cemeteries.
If you send me an email and do not hear from me, please send it again or send me a message thru the edit tab on the memorial. I see a lot of email from FAG contributors in my junk box. Not sure why some go there and some go to my inbox.

I just joined and noticed that you (I think it was you) added a noted onto my Dad's page. Were you in his class?

I noticed that you put the Find-a-grave of my paternal grandfather up. Thank you! I added a few pictures. I added GPS coordinates but they haven't showed up. Is that something that you have to approve since you own this record (Memorial #107593845)?
|beverly goll||Bena Stera|
It was a wonderful surprise to find a "Stera"
on Find a Grave site.
My Stera family lived in Poland.
I was surprised to find anyone who came to America as early as the 1860's.
Bena also known as Bina was Jewish.
The tombstone has Hebrew inscriptions.
It is very difficult to read. Her fathers name would be listed.
Are death records available from the cemetery?
If not could you tell me where I might find them.
The work you do is very much appreciated.
Bina's possible 5th or 6th great grand daughter.
Thank you very much for the transfer. It was unexpected but greatly appreciated.

Thank you for adding his obituary to the memorial. I have been helping my neighbor with his genealogy and he is a direct descendant of this man and his wife. The Crawford aspect was unknown to me until I found Canfield's obituary. It was a big help because two of his sons used the Crawford variation a couple of times but almost everyone used Crofoot.
So far it appears that every Crofoot buried in Loudon Park can be traced back to Canfield and his wife. Thanks again and thanks for being so quick.

Sorry - it's memorial 142499273.

Hey - I believe that Henry Cole Forman - is infact in St. Mary's Episcopal Cemetery and that his grave has been mislabeled as Mary Cole Foreman. Whoever put up the page included a picture of the stone - it's still sort of legible - I was in the church last Sunday for a play and popped into the cemetery and checked out the stone. It is Henry - not Mary. I sent an edit to the page holder - hopefully they will change it. :)

William Augustus Wade was born 24MAY1853 in Pearisburg VA and married Rieka M. Smith (memorial 27909810). He was a lawyer in Baltimore. I believe he died between 1905 and 1920 but I haven't found an obituary. Thus I am not sure this is his grave. He would be a pretty distant relative (2nd cousin n times removed). I'm just trying to tie the Wades together.
