RE: Anna Ruth Jones 137078047 Hi Fay. I remember seeing it but I don't remember where. My mind is in a fog right now. If you will bear with me I will try and find again. I just had a chemo treatment,1st one, Monday and I am pretty sick right now. Hopefully next week I will feel up to researching it. If you don't hear back from me by the end of next week just assume I could not locate that info again.
Find A Grave Memorial# 17153811 Question regarding Narcissa Grace Sircy's marriage to Alexander Thompson on 30 Jun 1881. Alexander Thompson's death certificate in 1936 stated he was widowed, yet Narcissa Grace Sircy, Thompson died 10 years after her husband. Therefore, it should have listed him as married. I'm wondering if this husband/wife connection is accurate. Alexander's death certificate stated his wife's name was Nancy Grace Thompson. Narcissa Grace Sircy had a sister named Nancy Caroline Sircy, therefore, I doubt Narcissa also went by Nancy. There are other records for an Alexander Thomason married to a Nancy Sircy. Do you think these Find A Grave family links are correct? Something appears to be amiss. On Narcissa's memorial it mentions that there are various years of birth for her (i.e. headstone 1865, yet the 1860 census shows 2 years old and 1870 census shows her 12 years old.) Thanks, Sheilah
Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph the of Homer Sadler. I really appreciate it!
Mr. Sadler was the first husband of my paternal grandfather's second wife, Abby Richmond. (If you are confused, so am I!).
I only discovered that Abby had been married to Mr. Sadler during my genealogical research, about six months ago. There are many family mysteries that I sought to unravel, and my Grandfather's second wife is one of them!
Please have a lovely evening, and happy Easter to you, if you are celebrating this holiday.
The information given to me for Naomi's memorial was on a list of Cedar Grove graves from another Find A Grave volunteer who had been photographing headstones. What I found often times that information on the the DC indicates one cemetery when in fact burial was changed to another. I will also contact the cemetery for confirmation.
I am not related to Hosale or Vicks. Would you like me to transfer this memorial once burial is confirmed?
