Bio Photo My name Is Brad L. Myers and I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I retired in 2010 after serving as a funeral director for 47 years. I have been doing my family genealogy for about 15 years. I have found Find-A-Grave is a very valuable tool in my research. The family surnames that I am researching are:

Myers, Bender, Buffington, Crandall, Dearduff, Foreman, Gallogly, Knepper, Ormiston, Passon, Sipe, and Wheeler

I will be happy to visit a cemetery in this area, and collect any information I can for you!

Hi Brad. I normally would say yes. But the date of death is not carved into the stone yet. It may take awhile before they get that done. I usually am up that way and take pictures as they add on the death dates. Thanks! Pam

RE: Name change

No problem! I just changed the name to "Augustus". I thought you would enjoy knowing the new system of changing details of a memorial. That's why I let you know of the details of Find A Grave's method of detail change. I will make a lot less work in your part! I hope that I have been of some help to you!

Hi Brad:

I could change the first name of Augustus, but I want you to try out the somewhat recent change to find a grave, that you may not be aware of! Go to the memorial, and hit "Edit" then hit "Name" make the changes. Now hit "save changes" the changes will be sent to me for approval, and pending my approval, they will be made soon after you sent the request. This is a fairly new method that was put in practice within the last year or so ago. It saves a lot of time, which we all have very little of these days! Try it! I'm sure you will like it!

Best Regards!
