RE: Re: Rogers Cemetery
I am now in the mist of deleting what you sent me. I asked an older couple about "this" cemetery that I was photographing and they stated to me that it was call Rogers cemetery. Guess that will be the last time I listen to someone... ;-)

Was using the new transcription system, and the picture uploader must have uploaded it to the wrong cemetery. Thanks.

RE: Watson Cemetery
You're very welcome. 3 of us from F.A.G teamed up to go to the cemetery to document the entire cemetery. Photo's are geotagged. Also, there were 3 graves there with wooden markers which looked to have recently been back-filled with dirt but the markers were so weathered that if there were any words on them, they are long gone. They were located around the grave for Mary Saunders. I just finished uploading the last of the pics from the graveyard. The cemetery is a public cemetery, so no one can say you can't trespass. If you wish to visit the cemetery, there was no sign there now. It was in rather good condition and well kept. Kathy McPhaul Cather has relatives in the cemetery which is why we made the trek. Glad to be of help to you with this. We had a great time exploring the cemetery.

I was wondering where you got the page of the Hairgrove Bible that you posted to Huldah's page.

I would really like to have a copy of all the pages from that Bible. Were there more? And is there a copy that does not cut off some of the names?

I descend from Asa Hairgrove's brother, Stephen Marion Hairgrove who is buried in Texas. S.M.'s Bible is preserved in the National Archives in his pension file for War of 1812. You can find it in Fold3.

I was hoping Asa's Bible page was in his file, but I did not see it. Do you have the original Bible?

Debbie
