I was born in Missouri and now live in Arizona. I've also lived in New Mexico and Nevada. I'm the 2nd oldest of eleven children born to John and Dorothy Barnby. I'm married and have two children and six grandchildren. |
I've been doing genealogy research since the 1990's. Thanks to all those who have helped me along the way! Especially thanks to my parents who have passed down to me their legacy of family history, stories and memories. There's nothing more valuable to me than that, except for the unconditional love and caring that they gave to me. I decided to contribute to Findagrave because I believe that everyone deserves to be remembered. This is a great site to share with others and preserve family photos and history for future generations!

I am glad to hear that I have been f some help. If it show my name on the picture that means I took that photo in that cemetery. I plan to go to the other Oil Spring Cemetery any take the complete cemetery like I did in the other one. If it helps the Oil Spring Cemetery in Tatums is mainly occupied by residents of Tatums or their relatives which is a black population settlement. Believe it or not I happen to know the lady you mentioned and had planned to contact her, hope I will be able to contact her and get some of this straightened out, wish me luck.

Linda, I will gladly grant requests for out-of-Guidelines transfers of sponsored Memorials. Sponsoring Memorials is a great way to permanently honor them. All proceeds go to support Find A Grave.

As I was transferring information to my Grandfather's genealogy page, I came across the Find a Grave site and saw your photos of his grave. I am so happy to have these photos and want to Thank you for sharing them with this website. Not only was my grandfather one of the graves but there was an Uncle there too.
They are Manuel Apodaca and Francisco Lazo. The last time we made a trip there was in 2004 and the photos I took were lost in a computer crash and unfortunately I have not returned. My grandmother's grave was one of those that "slid" down below from where Manuel's is sitting, they were next to each other and when I was there I was unable to photograph her's since it was too steep.
Thank you so much for this wonderful gift!
Thank you for sending them to me.
